“Loved my stay!”

I had a great stay in this hotel. This was my second visit and I was greeted with enthusiasm as a returning guest. The wait staff and desk workers were extremely polite and helpful to me always. My only complaint is that for the second time the wireless service was not functioning. The hotel was filled to capacity and yet I had a great time and never felt as though it were overcrowded. I'll definitely return.

“Very Enjoyable Experience”

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I must admit I was skeptical based on other reviews but decided to take a chance and was really pleased. It exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and large - the staff very helpful (and my Spanish is non-existent). The location couldn't be better - right on the beach. Lastly the security is great - Boca Chica can be a little wild at night and I felt comfortable and safe the entire time.

We were happy staying at this hotel Don Juan Beach Resort, great hotel and staff, hotel was clean and good service nd the food was very good and staff in the dining area very nice and friendly. I will recommend this hotel any time! The recreatonal activiies were good and the night life show were good and the young people in the show very friendly.

The Don Juan Resort is a very affordable all-inclusive resort. It is only 10 minutes from the Las Americas airport. The hotel lobby was open, with a Caribbean decor. Once we made the effort to try to communicate with the clerk in what little Spanish I remembered from high school, service definitely improved. We had reserved a Captain's room, and were truly awe-struck when we saw the ocean view from our balcony. The room was huge, with 2 queen beds and a large tub with whirlpool jets. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping everything sparkling clean. We were even surprised with a fruit basket on our anniversary. The oceanfront is protected by a reef, making it shallow and safe for little ones to swim. Vendors ply their wares from dawn til dusk on the beach, but the resort security will keep them from becoming a nuisance. There are 3 pools, all well maintained. They have a daily schedule of activities, including nightly entertainment, and they provide free paddle boats and snorkeling equipment. The buffets are wonderful, and I highly recommend making a reservation at least 1 night at their full service restaurant. The meals are beautifully presented and truly delicious. Drinks are made to order, and very refreshing. Take a supply of small bills for tipping, because even though you are not obligated, you will want to recognize exceptional service and the staff are very appreciative.

It's not perfect, few things are, but their employee are, we had a pretty vacation tima, i love this place, the only bad experience, we gain a lot of weigth, a recomend this resort

Listen my Expedia friends: For the price you pay for this stay you get a lot more for it. Look at the rates right now and the following is included: 1-All you can eat (don't expect a gourmet menu), 24 hours x day 2-All you can drink (don't expect international drinks), including Dominican Beers, Runs, Vodka etc., 3- Lot of entertaiment (don't expect Las Vegas Shows), 4- Excellent staff trying to make you feel confortable (don't expect Hilton matress and new and immaculate bed shirts). If you speak their language (spanish) or not, they will try it!!! So go there and enjoy without any big speculation other than be in a local (little) hotel relaxing with excellent service and paying 1/3 of the price you would pay in other hotel. If you expect personal and immaculate attention this is not your hotel. Pay a lot more a get some up grade in another place.

I am a dominican and i live in USA and i know very good hotels. I was impressed by the hotel,very clean ,the food was very good and a lots of it,the staff was very friendly,and overall everything was wonderfull. I was very worried because of the low prices that they have compare to other hotels. But it was very good and i am going back very soon.

I had the captains suite the room was decent the Jacuzzi was not working but location and view was great the scenery at the hotel was great close to restaurants and the bankays
