“Repeat client. Will continue to stay there”
Hotel needs wifi in rooms line connection is old and not good. Currently have to go to lobby to use wifi. Lobby is only place to use wifi
“good business hotel”
no complaints just 3 notes: default internet only set for 15 mins TV chanels did not correspond to their guide - they knew too much starch in the sheets - they ackowledged
“Very Nice Hotel, great staff, Good Location.”
if you looking for Good hotel in Santo Domingo Hotel Embajador is what you looking for. the staff very professional, great customer service. they even offer me any drink at the bar. most of the city atraction are very close from the hotel. I would definitive go back there.
“Loved it!”
The room was comfortable and even though you have to pay for breakfast, it was worth every single penny. The breakfast was sooo good. The service is really nice, all the people are very kind and friendly.
“July'11 visit”
condense water was leaking from the AC to the carpet on the floor. Mold on the carpet . T V was working poorly above the room workers were working on the renovation of the rooms. lots of noise
“Not impressed.”
I was expecting a more confortable hotel because of its name. Although the hotel presentation is great, the rooms lack lots of services, nevertheless, I will stay again.
“disappointed”
overpriced hotel with a small room. Very small, uncomfortable bathroom. The tv was old fashioned, not plasma or flat screen. Lock was broken and the staff was very nonchalant about it as if they didn't care. They did eventually fix it at 11 pm as I refused to sleep in an unsecured room. Also, they charge for EVERYTHING, even bottled water. Never going back there again.
“A good value”
I have been there several times. It is an older hotel with a casino and a very nice pool area and bar. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a great selection of hot and cold items. The in-room internet connection is weak and goes down often. A pretty good value for the business traveller on a budget.
“Best Hotel in the Capital”
This is the only place I would consider when staying in Sto Domingo
“santo domingo's best hotel.”
best hotel in santo domingo and much more reasonable than other upscale chain hotels. the staff is great. the room is great. very comfortable beds. the casino is small, but fine. the beer is too expensive. buy it at the liquor store a couple blocks away and bring it back to your room. the chinese restaurant just down the street is great and very affordable. but the hotel is the only one i will ever stay at in santo domingo. i keep trying other hotels and keep coming back to the occidental ambajador.
