“Why would you want more than this?”

Imerovigli is the place to stay if you want the caldera view from your room. It's quiet when you want it and not far away from Fira or Oia if your into crowds. Fira is a beautiful sardine can. Takis and Katerina took great care of us and made the stay special. When they suggest renting a "Moto", don't be hard headed like we were on the first day. Get a set of wheels and the Island is yours at your bidding. The name of the review fills in the rest.

“Best deal in Imerovigli”

You can't go wrong with this hotel. It has the best views of the caldera, it's quiet, clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The bed was on the small side, but it was not a big deal for us. The location is about a 15 minute walk from Fira, and only a few hundred meters from the bus stop. The bus is easy to take, it's cheap, and it will get you anywhere you want to go on the island. My wife and I stayed for 8 nights in JUN 2010, and we are already planning to visit again next summer.

“Great place in Imerovigli”

Great place to stay for those looking for a romantic and quiet place with kitchenette and caldera views. Having breakfast in your own balcony with a view of the caldera and the aegean sea was magnificent. The family friendly service was wonderful.

“The best location”

Location, location, location! If you want to stay in the best area of Santorini, and want the best view of the caldera... then you must stay in Villa Apolafsi. Its perfectly located in highest peak of the caldera, in Imerovigli. The hotel it self is very well maintained, and the rooms are not huge, but are very cute, with kitchenette and a decent bathroom. The best thing is waking up and having the breakfast served at your private balcony, and then seeing that beautiful sunset in the end of the day. The service is not bad also. The manager was great and helped us rent the car and the ATV to roam around the island.

“Good value for the money”

My fiancee and I stayed at this quaint hotel perfectly situated on a cliff overlooking the caldera. The sunset that greated us upon our arrival was breathtaking. The staff; in particular, the manager was attentive to our needs and made planning our days easy. He gave us accurate informattion on the island and made suggestions on how best to enjoy our brief stay there. When we missed the ferry to Rhodes he quickly assisted us in securing a flight within hours of its departure. Breakfast was served on our balcony each morning while we savoured the view. If a you need a hotel with a good sized bathroom (larger than a closet) this is not the place. If not this place is a gem. We would definitely recommend this hotel to the budget conscious traveller.

“it's okay for what it is”

the place was neat and close by to fira which made it convenient. The price was fair, however, if i were to go back to santorini I would either pay for a much nicer room with a better view or downgrade to something without a view
