My husband and I traveled here on our honeymoon. We fell in love with this place, the staff (shout out to Pericles and Anna in the kitchen and Giannis!), and of course Artemios himself. We were only there a week and yet I am homesick to return!
Artemios picked us up from town because we were lost, and was so kind and welcoming from the first minute. He gave us fantastic recommendations and taught us about Greek culture and life throughout our visit. He is a sincere, generous, and incredible man. He treated us like we were family, and the hotel felt like home.
Even if the staff hadn't been wonderful, which they were, the place really spoke for itself. The grounds are immaculate. The pictures online do not lie--it is as stunning at sunset as it looks. Also the amenities are unmatched by any place I saw in Greece: pool, gym, tennis and basketball courts, even a picturesque little church in the center. Artemios upgraded us (for free, and without pretense) to the honeymoon suite, which was literally a white washed cave in the cliff-side. It was private, quiet, huge, and so clean. We called it "the love cave." There are also sweet little kitties and two dogs who live on the grounds--they'll totally respect your space or play with you if you are nice to them.
Ordinarily I am a rather cynical person, so you can imagine how great this place must be if it turns me into such a gushing fool.
