I will provide an honest and fair review of my mixed experience here. ACCOMMODATIONS: It is nice however our stay was uncomfortable. The bed had dead bugs with smeared blood and unknown stains. We decided to sleep in the bunkbeds instead because of this. The next day they changed the sheets but this experience was odd since we should have had clean fresh sheets upon arrival. Day 2 the AC unit was leaking so bad it soaked our clothes. The leaking sound was disruptive so again we slept in the uncomfortable children's bunkbed. The next day they had a technician fix it. The cost and this experience was unacceptable so we requested a partial refund for the partial experience we received at this accommodation and they denied it. They claimed to care about their customers experience but clearly they can not take financial responibility for their shortcomings. Very disappointing. LOCATION: It is on a busy road that is dangerous especially at night. If you do nor have a car I do not recommend staying here. There are some bus stops but braving the dangerous road isn't worth it at all. There are better accommodations, location and management at other places near by. Very inconvenient.

We never considered your complaint as a reflection of your attitude since you seemed like fun-loving individuals seeking a memorable experience. Regarding your mention of a ladybug in the room at midnight, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please note that in Greece, finding a ladybug is considered good luck, and we took immediate action to address the issue. We hired an expert who used a non-chemical product to spay the room, ensuring the problem was resolved. It’s worth nothing that no other guests have reported a similar concern, but we take every guest’s feedback seriously and strive to improve based on their input. We would like to advise future guests not to rely solely on this review when making their booking. It’s important to consider the different individuals have varying expectations and preferences. Our hotel is situated a 10-minutes’ walk from Imerovigli center, and we have intentionally designed our business to cater to those seeking a relaxing vacation, family time, and privacy. Fantastic, We stayed in the family room with our children for 2 nights. Staff were welcoming and helpful in every way. Breakfast was amazing as was service. Only suggestion to anyone would be to rent a car. The buses are tough to figure and the cost to rent a car is relatively cheap ( the hotel can also help with this!). Great experience and we would absolutely recommend and return .

The room was spacious and light, and the property was walking distance to everything we needed. The best part of the stay was the proprietor Themis. Having him there was like having a private concierge, he was so helpful, and interested in making sure our stay was an extraordinary one.

Our host Themis truly made this trip one to remember! He went above and beyond with the breakfasts delivered in the morning, made communication easy and was always there if you had a question, and helped hook our excursions! His personality goes above the average “customer service” and we cannot recommend Athiri Santorini enough! Our view was incredible, and was centrally located from just about everything we needed! Wonderful stay!
Wonderful apartment and fantastic host! More over the views the property offers and next to none. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen, even though we did not use much, was very well equipped.

The hotel is a small group of apartments just far enough outside of Imerovigli to be quiet and peaceful, though there is some noise from the road. The Superior room was spacious with living areas, a jacuzzi that was just warm enough (we didn't fiddle with the controls) for our sunset in October. There were limited cooking facilities and simple breakfast components were supplied. The bed was on a mezzanine, accessed by stairs with very limited headroom. We had very limited views of the caldera, but they were lovely - there were also views of the sea to the east and sunrises. A short walk took us to amazing views of the caldera from a quiet path, taking us to Imerovigli in 10 minutes, with good restaurants. We wallked that most days, though we had a car (buses are close by but we had to wait for them). The nearby not-so-touristy Taverna Tasos is wellworth a visit.. The staff were very, very helpful with the room and advice on trips. We took their advice for a Barbarosa sailing tour, which was the highlight of the trip. If we were to go back to the area then I would definitely rebook with the Athiri.

The stay was excellent and Athiri is a great hotel for families. Only around a 20 min walk to Thira it was well located and the views were stunning form the hotel. Kosta was excellent in summarising the island and some great tips on where to go and what to do.

As all other reviews have stated Kostas is wonderful. Very informative and helpful w booking excursions, cars, transfers etc. the location is central but you MUST rent a car nothing is walkable here. Also know this is no frills hotel, very simple breakfast that is in your fridge (bread, cereal and fruit ) it is clean but simple.

I gave a review about this hotel and this is the message I got back , you have to like the place otherwise you are rude and you will be reported in other hotels as bad customer, pathetic!!!!! Please work on customer service before insulting your customers , by the way that’s first time I write a review about a hotel but honestly it was a terrible experience thank god I had rest of my stay in dreams luxury suites which I had an amazing customer service and also I highly recommend, dreams luxury suites is worth every penny!

You just have to know, for future reservation in all hotels since we were pathetic for you, that when you are doing a reservation you need to include all persons and their ages. Not showing up 2 adults + 3 teenagers and book a room for 1 adult + 3 infants.There is always a difirence in the price, if you know that. Also if you are arranging your arrival transfer and your flight is changing you need to inform the hotel since someone (the driver) will be expecting for you to arrive at the airport and this is not good. i am really sorry for your review and i hope that future clients will see all the other reviews apart from yours. The hotel owner Kostas was the best part of this stay. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He assisted with all of our enquires and even let us do a super late check out when we had a midnight ferry to catch. Breakfast items were supplied each day so we could make our own breakfast which was nice and different. Location was close to the caldera view walk between Thira and Oia

Clean and spacious aparthotel. It is in a quiet area which I prefer, short walk to imerovigli town with beautiful caldera views. Kostas was very welcoming, gave us detailed information on best parts of Santorini to explore, restaurants to eat, etc. Breakfast could’ve been better, we stayed there for 5 days and we had the same breakfast for 4 days, our last day was just bread, loads of butter, and juice. I had to ask few items like shower gels (doesn’t get refilled) and yoghurt but Kostas always ensures to cater to our needs. Hot tub was good way to relax at the end of the day but we had windy days that we can’t use it...maybe consider putting shield. Having said all that I highly recommend this aparthotel. And thank you to Kostas for an excellent service!! We really enjoyed our Santorini experience 👍👍👍

First of all, Costa the manager is simply amazing. Attentive to your comfort and needs, he is genuine and an absolute plesure to deal with. Accommodating and family oriented. We stayed here with a 10 month old baby and it was perfect for us. They offered us a play pen for our son to sleep in. Lots of place for our belongings, comfy beds, great showers, free parking, and central to everything. Breakfast items updated daily. Would 100 % recommend.

Great value 3 star apartment hotel
Athiri apartments were a great find for our Fira part of our Santorini stay. The location is just far enough away from the center to be quiet but close enough you can walk to enjoy the evening sunset or a meal in town. A rental car is a good idea for this property. There is plenty of free parking available. Our superior apartment was spacious, well appointed, clean, with great A/C and wifi. The sunrise from our window was spectacular. What a location ! The owner Kostas is a great island ambassador. He gave us great welcome and summary of the island with tips and ideas. Very appreciated. Our only concern was the unexpected "low ceiling" of the loft in our superior room. Though we appreciate the domed roof style is customary on the island, we just never imagined the ceiling would be that low. Once at the top of the narrow staircase, there is no real head room at the landing and we had to bend down most of the time to avoid hitting our heads, again. Just not something the pictures & descriptions described clearly or we see as a loft height in North America. We know now for next time we visit Greece :) Might not be suitable for people with back problems or with mobility issues. All in all a great location and value. We will choose a family room downstairs next time. Leave those lofts to the younger travelers :) !

We had a great time at Athiri Santorini. The property and the room are beautiful. We had amazing views of both the sunset above the caldera ( no need to go to Oia to enjoy this) and the sunrise. We did like relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the picturesque view of the caldera. On top of that the rooms were super clean and customer service was the best we have ever had. Kostas took time to sit with us and explain in details what to visit in Santorini, which are the best places to eat and helped us with renting a car to explore the island ( a tip- rent a car- it is definitely worth it to rent for the stay and use as means of transpiration to and from the airport and around the island, it is easy to drive and is only about $50-70 Euro a day depending on the car). Thank you, Kostas and Athiri for the great time we had :)

Good hotel. Prices is reasonable too. However they didn’t quite well responded to an emergency we had. We had kept a wine bottle in the balcony over night and found in the morning it felt n spilled/splashed wine into a wall due to heavy winds n rain over night. It was a genuine mistake I did to take the wine bottle inside. Who knows there’s going to be heavy winds over night. They demanded more than $350 damages to repaint their wall. Which I actually had to pay. Was just curious if that is something they actually had to demand me. I thought they could have covered that from the hotel insurance.

Very spacious and awesome view from our villa. Very quiet and nice sunrise view too. This hotel provided everything we needed. A welcome wine and fruits basket, everyday breakfast and a Jaccuzi with nice and awesome view from our villa. We had a delayed flight and reached the hotel late for check-in and the host Kostas waiting for us patiently. He is so helpful and recommended us the best traditional Greek restaurant not far a way and given us many info and tips about Santorini. We will definitely come back and choose Athiri for the stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights in a superior room. We could not have been happier with our stay at Athiri. Kostas was a pleasure to communicate with and was an amazing host. Our room was exactly as pictured on Expedia and very clean upon arrival and cleaned daily. Our breakfast was replenished daily and more than enough for our family of four. Our room had a view from every window, we saw the sea, the sunrise and sunset. We rented a car for three days which Kostas had delivered to Athiri for us. Kostas was a wealth of information and we ate at many of his recommended restaurants. There is a bus stop conveniently located steps from Athiri, which was helpful. There is a path that connects Fira to Oia located right behind Athiri, we walked this path each morning. The staff were all so pleasant and accommodating. On Our last day our flight was not until 11pm and Kostas had an area for us to store our suitcases, shower (freshen up) and rest as check out was at 12 noon so we could experience another full day on island. He had us like Kings and can’t thank him enough!!

Amazing! Kostas was so very helpful and went out of the way to assist us. We check out in the morning at 9 am but our ferry to Kos wasn't until after midnight. Kostas kindly offered to store our luggage and even though the reception hours were up to 7 pm, he arranged to meet us at the property at 9.30 pm thereby allowing us to book in a full day Santorini tour with Oia sunset. He was with us until our taxi transfer at 11.30 pm and even opened the play room for the kids. I will not hesitate to stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini! Thank you again Kostas!

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Conveniently located between Fira and Oia. Able to catch the public bus which travels in both directions. For an excellent sightseeing experience follow the walking path that takes you you directly to Fira. An excellent opportunity to take some amazing photos of the caldera.

Like a nice apartment in your family village!
Beautiful surrounding, comfy with everything you need for a few days to a few weeks. Love the private patio and hot tub with a beautiful view. Quiet and location is accessible to everything. Grateful for the suggestions and directions on where to eat and where to go so we made the most out of every minute we where in santorini. Will definitely stay here again.
