“Awesome view”
Our room was very nice, nothing overly fancy. For the best views you must ask for a room with an ocean view. The Hotel is located right near the main activieties & shops. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful and the facilities were great even if the bathrooms were a bit small.
“Wonderful Hotel/Location...”
Atlantis hotel was wonderful. You can not ask for a better location than Atlantis... It overlooked the Sea and the Volcano.. What made our stay even nicer is the Staff was wonderful/friendly.. We had our flight later in the afternoon, and they let us stay extra w/out any issues.. I would go back to this place again if I was in santorini..
“Great Hotel”
Perfect location and very helpful staff, had a great ocean view from our room, we really enjoyed our stay.
“Quiet comfort”
Atlantis hotel is located away from the main areas of Thira town, but close enough to get to get within minutes. It is a nice quiet location with some of the rooms having unforgettable caldera view from private balconies. The decor is sparce and clean, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast on the balcony overlooking the bay and the caldera was a relaxing daily experience. I would recommend it highly.
“Hotel in a central location!”
Nice hotel in a central location. The taxi can drop you off right at the hotel entrance, compared to the other dozens of small hotels around there where you have to walk with your bags up and down small streets with multiple stairs. We liked the hotel but we were disappointed by the small balcony which was half occupied by the air conditioning unit (which by the way did not do much!). Very friendly staff! We were also impressed by the housekeeping which was done twice a day!
“Atlantis Review”
Great staff. great Location.
“Great location and amazing view”
After looking around I chose this hotel specifically due to the location and of course with the past reviews. The cabs can pull up right to the hotel so there's no stairs to deal with. The hotel is right in Fira, our room overlooked the town and had an amazing view of the ocean. It was nice have the best of both views, we'd have breakfast every morning on our balcony. With that being said, the noise from the streets and people partying late was a bit of a pain when you're trying to sleep. The pool was decent, while we were there, we used it a couple of times and most of the time it was just the 2 of us. The real drawback about the hotel was the bed, the mattress was a bit hard, the blankets should be replaced. They were pretty beat up, but the room was clean. Overall, I would recommend this hotel just for the service and location. Santorini is a beautiful island, the view alone made it all worth it!
“Awesome Hotel - Made our Honeymoon”
I really can't say enough about the Atlantis Hotel. I've stayed in hotels about 10 times a year for 10 years, and the staff here was the nicest I've ever encountered. Incredibly pleasant and attentive. We paid for a town view but were upgraded to a volcano view room. After seeing it, I would have definitely paid extra for the Volcano View. It's amazing. While dozens of other people were outside standing in the streets watching the sun go down, we were on our balcony with a bottle of wine, some cheese from a nearby market, and music on our iPod. The location is great, as well. It's the perfection location in Fira to walk around with easy access to everything. When you're tired of staying in one town, Fira is in the middle of the island, so we were able to rent an ATV (20euro/day) and travel the entire island (about an hour from top to bottom with Fira in the middle). South are the ancient ruins and beaches (Red and Black) and north is Oia and the mountains. We'd spend half a day south of Fira, come back to Fira for lunch, then head to North to Oia for dinner.
“One of the best places to stay in Fira”
If you want to spend time in Fira, Santorini's main attraction, Atlantis Hotel is one of the very best places to be. Step out the door and you're in the heart of Fira, ready to start exploring. As far as the hotel itself goes, it's very very clean and bright inside. The staff is small and quiet, but everyone is very curtious. The rooms are nice, but the blankets are not soft at all (minor issue). While a nice pool and free breakfast are available, the hotel doesn't offer many other bells and whistles. It has a very "minimal" vibe. Of course, if you're looking for restaurants, cafes, etc., all you have to do is walk out the door. You may order breakfast any time of day, but only once a day. The selection is small, but basics such as eggs, coffee bacon and toast are available. The price of the hotel is great considering the hotel's amazing location and prettiness. Note: People start clubbing at ~1am and continue partying ALL night long!! No matter where you stay in Fira (Hotel Atlantis included), you WILL hear LOUD club music in the middle of the night every night. Also, keep in mind that Fira is on the top of a cliff; the beach is not right outside the hotel. While I probably would not go back to Fira, I would certainly stay at Hotel Atlantis again if I did.
“Excellent - take the room with the view”
The Atlantis was excellent. Beautifully designed inside and out with incredible views overlooking the calderra and the skyline. Very high qualty hotel. The room was a bit smallish, but a great value nevertheless (given the beauty, location, view, great service, etc.)
