Dirty old expensive apartmentsPosted Jul 30, 2014
The shower was moldy and very dirty. Bed sheets smelled. It did not offer any comfort what so ever. We asked other hotels that offered the best views, as well as swimming pool, free breakfast, etc. and their price was less than what we paid. Don't be fooled by the pictures.

Casa Francesca and Musses StudiosPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: We enjoyed sitting out on the roof terrace every day looking at the view.
Cons: Cooking facilities were a bit limited which didn't bother us as we ate out all the time.
Location: Very central location. Just across the road from shops, restuarants and views of the caldera and amenities. Lovely landscape and seascape views.
We found the accommodation to be exactly as described and we had a very enjoyable stay. The whole island is absolutely stunning and beautiful and well worth a visit. The hotel staff/owners were really nice, friendly and they organised car hire and airport transfers for us. we would be happy to return.

Very much enjoyed this charming studio loft with amazing views. Great value very clean and perfect location. Will recommend it for sure and would stay there again. There is no staff there, but all worked put just fine.

OKPosted Aug 4, 2010
We arrived early for check-in after an overnight ferry. The travel agency wanted to charge us extra money to check-in early even though the room was ready. The place is clean but not very comfortable and in a random part of Ia.

Not too BadPosted Nov 30, 2009
I thought this little apartment was decent. We liked that you can cook and they had dishes to use. It wasn't as clean as a hotel would be, but I wasn't grossed out or anything. The shower would get water on the bathroom floor. Ours was a living room/kitchen then they had an upstairs loft where the bed was. It was roomy. Our hair dryer and tv did not work. It was a short walk to the bus stop which is convenient. The bus stop is also where the hotel person is. Overall, Musses was a pretty good stay, but dont expect to get pampered. Its like your renting an apartment. Its more on your own. We loved it!

AmazingPosted Sep 20, 2006
We went to Santorini for our first island stop for our honeymoon, and Esparas was the perfect place for us. Its not big, or super luxury hotel, but it has amazing service, view of the sunset, ideal location to Oia town. Also, the people who work there was amazing. They help us arrange rental cars, transportation, dinner - almost everything was done for us without lifting a finger. The hotel is on a cliff, so you do have to walk up and down the stairs quite a bit. Make sure you could walk up and down. It is hard... I would go back to Oia and Esparas without any question.
