Loved the Chromata Up Style Hotel!!!Posted Sep 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Chromata Up Style Hotel in Santorini. The hotel staff (especially at check in) is amazing greetings us with the most delicious homemade lemon-aide. We had a spectacular room with the most gorgeous view. The breakfast delivered each morning to our private balcony was superb. The hotel was so beautiful we were reluctant to leave the premises even to stroll into town. The infinity pool is stunning and we also really enjoyed our poolside meals. I cannot wait to return!

A Dream-Like OasisPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: The view, the staff, the breakfast, the pool
Cons: I only stayed for one night, but everything was perfection as far as I could see!
Location: It is about a 15-min walk into the main city of Fira. The walk is very nice, along the edge of the Caldera. It is also near Oia, which is a must see
I decided to treat myself to one night in Santorini during a one-week holiday in Mykonos. I had never been to the island, and I had heard so much about the views. I booked Chromata on a whim, knowing that it was a bit steep for my budget, but I wanted to stay in a hotel where I could take full advantage of the Santorini experience. All I can say is WOW. Chromata blew me away. I wished that I had planned to stay a few nights there instead of just one. The view was spectacular. The staff were charming and friendly. The service was impeccable. I loved the infinity pool. It was small, but the effect was breathtaking. The rooms were very nice--I took the cheapest room, which still cost me $400 Euros, but still felt like it was worth it. Every room has its own private terrace or veranda with a full view of the volcano. And the "order-whatever-you-want" breakfast was a nice touch. I had to resist the urge to ask for "one of everything". It was delivered to the room very quickly after I ordered it, and it was delicious! There were also other nice touches like a complimentary bottle of Santorini's own white wine and fruit on arrival and Thierry Mugler soaps in the bathroom. The fact that the Manager of the hotel went out of her way to greet me, give me a tour of the hotel and teach me about the history of Santorini when I was only staying for one night speaks volumes. It is a small boutique hotel, so the service is much more personalized. I can't wait to go back!!!

Experience of a lifetimePosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location was perfect- away from touristy Oia & Fira, Imerovigli had its own charm without the crowd. Also convenient to have a local grocery market across the street, and bus stop nearby. The hotel itself was AMAZING. I really can't imagine any other resort beating Chromata- the clean modern design, the view (every inch of their resort had a view of the Caldera!), their pool area (though a bit small, it was never crowded), daily breakfast at your balcony/patio, and their exceptional service (24 hr access! Their manager, Christina, helped us tremendously with our travelling plans).

Wow, wow, wow!Posted Jul 2, 2013
Location: Location is perfect. 20 min walk to centre of town or 2 min bus ride.
Wow, wow, wow! There is no point even looking at any other hotel in Santorini. My wife and I finished our 6 week honey moon at Chromata and were just blown away by the service, quality of rooms, pool area and views. I don't want to give too much detail as I want any person reading this review to be just as surprised as we were. Just book now!

The perfect santorini experience!Posted Oct 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were welcomed with fresh lemonade and given a welcome packet and map of the island and towns. In our room we found fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. The room was nicer than the photo online, and the view from the balcony and room was spectacular! There was an ipod in the player when we arrived playing relaxing music in the room. The room was large, as was the closet and bathroom. The shower was large with a bench and hand shower in addition to the rain shower. The linens were heavenly, and the bed was very comfortable, and had the firmness / softness that is common in North American luxury hotels. The pool and bar area is the kind of place you never want to leave. It has the santorini ambiance that you see in photos and hope to experience. The pool is a little on the cool side, so we used it sparingly. There is also a warm pool in a cave room that we used in combination with the cold pool. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They obsessively repaint the white walkways, so there is no sign of wear and tear in the hotel grounds. The breakfast that is included is served on your private terrace from a good menu. All the food at the hotel was excellent. We were hesitant about the location not being in Fira, but actually Imerovigli is nicer. The only competition for the area is Oia, which is very cute, too. There is a bus stop 2 minutes out the door of the hotel which goes to Oia every 30 minutes. You can walk to Fira in 20 minutes.

Truly SuperbPosted Aug 26, 2012
A perfect stay at the most perfect hotel. Truly stunning in every sense, including the amazing view. Beds are very comfortable, and the very well prepared breakfast is served on your balcony. Not in the centre but no problem at all, most things you want to do aren't in the centre and to go in, it's a pleasant 20min walk via the dedicated scenic path into central Thira. Will come back again.

luxury hotelPosted Jul 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
Luxury hotel, loved our stay with only drawbacks cost of food and drink and some small signs of refurbishment in room required. Staff were excellent and the pool area in particular was heaven. Upgrade provided and very much appreciated.
