The hotel's location and rooms were beautiful. The view from our large balcony was amazing. We had the two-bedroom apartment and it was very large and beautifully decorated. Everything was extremely clean. The breakfast was also nice and you could sit on the balcony for breakfast and enjoy the view. The hotel was located away from the major towns on the island but that made for a peaceful but still convenient location. The hotel staff was very helpful with transportation information and restaurant recommendations. We had 6 people in our group and rented a van for 65 Euro for one day and drove all over the island. The hotel arranged the rental and the company dropped off and picked up the car at the hotel. There were also 4 wheelers for rent. Driving was easy but there is also a public bus. The hotel recommended two restaurants in walking distance which were both very good. Remezzo provided a memorable evening with fresh fish. There were also several shops nearby. All in all it was a beautiful hotel and we hope to return some day for a longer stay.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Steps, steps and more steps.
Location: Remote
Warning !!!!! Unless you are in excellent physical condidtion this hotel is not for you. There is a 35 degree slope to get down to the lobby and bottom level of the units. No elevators available. Cab driver did not want to drive down the driveway because of the grade. Partial kitchen did not include any means of cooking or heating any food. Consisted of some dishes and a mini fridge. We let staff know there was a handicapped person who could not use but a few steps and were presented with a room with over 30 steps to leave the unit. Room was fine on it's own for the price but, layout was not for the elderly, handicapped or or anyone not in great physical shape.

Off season in Greece the last Week of September everything starts shutting down. Would definatley coming the first two weeks in September, for budget savy tourist, this place was awesome. A grocery story right across from the hotel. Great resurants both below the hotel on a nice black sand beach and one in town called the "Taveren" good food for the "Euro". Was really disappointed "Antiquity" was closed.
