Elegant ParadisePosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: The views are breathtaking during the day, at sunset and at night. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to make sure we had a great time.
Cons: Would have been nice to have had more glasses and an ice bucket in the room.
Location: The location is just a taxi ride to town. There is a restaurant that is just a five minute walk away that has great food and wonderful sunset views.
Had a wonderful time at Maison Des Lys. The staff was very friendly and professional making sure that our stay was a great experience. It sits on the cliffs of the caldera away from all the crowds of the towns and a great place to relax and rejuvenate. The rooms were luxury suites and very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was fabulous. It is a very romantic place and the flowers on the bed each day was such a special surprise. I would definitely stay there again if lucky enough to be going to Santorini again.

Fantastic hotelPosted Sep 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had a wonderful week here, the hotel is lovely and the staff Cannot do enough to help you. The breakfast in your room is one of the best I have had. The location is very out of the way so you will need a car to Get around, but it is Nice to be away from the crowds.

Perfect get away with gorgeous viewsPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for 3 nights on my honeymoon and it was magnificent! The pictures on their website look very professional but I don't think it does the place justice. It's even more breath taking than the pictures. Claudia works too hard! She is there all the time and goes out of her way to help with anything. She helped book my car rental, reservations for tables to catch the sunset, and a helicopter tour(we ended up not doing it because of minimum person requirements) all last minute. She gave great food recommendations and none of them disappointed. There are only 15 private suites with balconies to see the beautiful view each morning. You can request breakfast to be delivered at whatever time you get up and look out at the stunning blue waters and scenic views of Fira and Oia. The pool was very nice and well kept. The only unfortunate part was that it was windy when we were there but that's no fault of the hotel so we couldn't take advantage of the pool as much as we had liked to. I was told the previous week had no wind at all. Room If you have a car, the location of the hotel is not a problem. We liked that it was away from noise and foot traffic of the Fira and Oia crowds. Thank you to Claudia and her wonderful staff.

If you like total privacy, not in a tourist area , happy to hire transport ie quad or car , this is an idyllic place . Highly recommend to couples wanting to get away . Cannot speak a bad word , except cant wait to go back . Great friendly staff when you need them but they allow you the space to relax .
