We booked a hotel room for 3 nights and chose the option with "half-board" meals. This option gave us a delicious daily breakfast buffet and an incredible 3-course dinner with amazing traditional Greek food. The dining room is at the highest floor of the hotel, and provides very nice views of the ocean and also of downtown Fira. The head cook, Spiros was very friendly and made delicious meals. At the end of our stay there, we left him a tip because of his delicious food and told him that this was a 3 star hotel with 5 star food.
The hotel itself is in a slightly removed location from downtown Fira, which is nice because it is a quieter spot than the other hotel we stayed at which was right in town. We rented a car, but even our first walk to the hotel from the bus stop before we had the car was not very long. Without luggage, it's a very doable walk to and from the city. The rooms are a bit sparse, and not very modern, but the are clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but still good.
