Great hotel very close to the beachPosted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Friendly manager, clean linen, clean room, great location
Location: Walk on the beach. Good beach restaurants. Ancient Thera
The hotel is right on the beach, almost. It's in a great location ad has a very friendly manager. We had trouble finding the hotel, so the manager drove to the bus stop to pick us up. He even offered us chocolate cake and a wine bottle upon arrival. Google Maps showed us an incorrect location for the hotel so we had to call up the hotel to find out where it was. Anyway, the hotel was comfortable with clean beds and sheets and a nice balcony. The only thing I didn't like was the shower area. Although the bathroom was of a decent size, the shower area was like 2x2 feet and was very uncomfortable for a shower. I'd still recommend this hotel to anyone because of the location, price and extremely friendly manager.

The Perfect StayPosted Sep 17, 2014
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
Ostria Studios was the first stop on a week and a half stay on the Greek islands with two girlfriends. The location is absolutely perfect. I have been to Santorini before and I stayed in Thira. I highly recommend staying in Perissa and making a day trip to Thira instead. Thira is extremely congested during the summer and you will get tired of making day trips to the beach. At Ostria, you cross the street and you are on an incredibly beautiful black sand beach with amazing restaurants and beach bars to the right and left of you. When you're tired at the end of a long day in the sun, you can walk 30 seconds back to your room instead of dealing with a bus. Our room was super clean, extremely spacious and adorably decorated. The bathroom was a decent size and the kitchen was enormous with a huge fridge, stove, utensils and glassware. There was more than enough room for the three of us to spread out or belonging and have our own space when getting ready. Right outside our door was a cute table and chairs and a patio with lounge chairs. Finally, one of the best parts of our stay was the hospitality. The owner, Nick, is a perfect example of why the world speaks so highly of Greek hospitality. Nick was extremely helpful in recommending things to do on the island and answering any questions we had about buses, ATV rentals and restaurants. He even gave us a bottle of Ouzo on our last night! I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if I get the chance to make it back to Santorini!

Great LocationPosted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
An excellent stay in a great location, around midway and right in front of the beach! The owner is very pleasant. The room is a very good size, ours was the one on the first floor with balcony overlooking the sea, great for sitting out with a drink. All restaurants and bars are very close by, and quite a bit cheaper than Fira! Would recommend the accommodation plus Perissa, which having visited Kamari for a day is like a slightly quieter and less developed resort, depending what you want?

Utmärkt strandläge och fantastisk värdPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Allt!

Happy!Posted Jun 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
We, a family of three, spent five days at the cozy Ostria studios in mid-June. The nicely furnished apartments have everything needed. The family that runs the place makes you feel at home on Santorini. It is located right on the beach and you can hear the waves at night. At the same time the building is placed a little further in than the other restaurants etc along the beachroad which make it feel private and quiet. Thank you Nick for your openness and all the tasty treats you came by with. We will gladly return!

Perfect location with a delightful viewPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Location perfect
Cons: As with many showers In Greece clean and tidy but a little small. Feels like being hugged by the shower curtain The bathroom is good size and clean
Location: Beach, eat sleep etc Various tours are available if you want to do them
Ostria is a lovely place to stay. Exceptionally clean uninterrupted view of the beach Room 2 had some useful cooking facilities and we ate at home several times which made the holiday very reasonable. Clean sheets every day and loads of hot water. The owner is generous providing cakes wine and very delicious Greek snacks .. I. Would describe this place as rooms rather than a hotel, location is brilliant due to by the sea Lovely holiday and we will be back .

VIEW ON THE BEACHPosted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
OSTRIA is a charming little place just in front of the beach. You get up and go straight to the sea ! The owner (and his family) are very welcoming, ready to answer any questions, give advice etc... Home made pastry delivered every morning ! Perissa is a beach location, so quite a travel/distance to visit around the island, but coming back or getting up to the seaside is priceless...

Fantastisk servicePosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
