“Excellent guest service”

Staff was very friendly. Very relaxing-away from the busy village. Restaurants and shopping a few minutes from resort.

“Great beach access, but the airplanes fly 100 feet directly over you!!! LOUD!”

The private beach is the best regarding the easy access from the hotel - truly beautiful. However, the one thing no one tells you are the airplanes that fly directly over the hotel. It is SO LOUD!! The rooms were okay, but the bed is HARD as a rock and the Bathroom barely fit me and I weigh 110 pounds!!

“Santorini”

The hotel is very nice and clean, they have internet and very good service throughout the hotel. The staff was excellent. I didn't like being close to the airport with airplanes taking off at all hours, but in Santorini it's difficult to be far from the airport.

“A very good value for money, all things considered”

Whatever the hotel lacks in comfort, it more than makes up for in service and courtesy. Planes noise not such a big nuisance after all, due to the limited number of flights. Location is great. Make sure to book a superior room or higher. Hotel should invest 150 USD to provide WiFi access, at least in the public areas.

“Poor service and not worth the money”

We arrived and we waited 20 minutes to check-in, the point being that there was no queue but the girl at the front desk was completely clueless. The room was of poor quality compared to the price, especially the bathroom. When we asked if they had another room, they let us wait another 20 minutes in the reception with NO AIR CONDITIONING before even starting to search. WE decided to move to another hotel and not to stay there.

“Huge dissapointment. Find another place.”

I don't usually leave comments on hotel stays but I think this time it's worth it. The hotel was really disappointing. It is a run down hotel which urgently needs an update, a thorough refurbishment. It is evident that the hotel was a beautiful hotel probably thirty years ago, however, it is in the same conditions as it was then. It's not that it is dirty but that the whole thing is really old. A huge disadvantage is the location. It sits just besides the airport so you hear really loud planes taking off and landing. There are charters coming in the middle of the night two or three times as well as during morning and afternoon. I don't think the hotel is worth the price they charge. I am sure you can get more for your money elsewhere. One more dissapointment was the pool. It is salty water which my kids really disliked. A positive thing is their staff. They were nice and make an effort to make us happy. However, in summary, I would never recommend it. Santorini is a magical place and the hotel where you stay should be special. I am even thinking to go back to enjoy Santorini without the dissapointment of staying in such a run down place.
