OK hotel.Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Valet parking, included breakfast was good, rooms were spacious and comfortable
Cons: Sound isolation - we heard everyone watching TV in the surrounding rooms + road works outside the hotel + Cigarette smell from the room next to ours..
Location: Everything is far in Sao Paulo and there's always Traffic... location doesn't change much
Hotel was ok overall but some small things made the stay 'less' interesting. There's a lot of noise outside the hotel and even with all windows closed, we hear everything as if people were working in the room... at 1am! We could smell the cigarette smell from the room next to ours, I didn't even think smoking room still existed! Otherwise, service was good, included breakfast perfect, the room size was good, spacious and comfortable.

I stayed in this hotel because it is conveniently located for my purposes in Sao Paulo. The room was OK but I believe they only made the bed and changed the towels, I don't believe they vacuumed the room. The restaurant menu is very limited and forces you to use room service. On saturday they did not clean the room until 8 pm. Previously, I had asked 3 times to have it cleaned and the beds made. I will return because it is conveniently located but if you come on pleasure I would not recommend it.

Good hotelPosted Apr 6, 2013
Pros: Location, rooms are spacious
Cons: Washroom outdated, requires a revamp
Central location close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Good service, allowed a late check out without any hassle.

No crib for babyPosted Jan 13, 2013
I would have given the hotel a higher rate, but I requested a crib for my son and they didn't provide it. This fact made my stay less pleasant. They only have one crib for the entire hotel, that means that if someone is already using it, they have no way to get another one. Another issue was that they only cleaned my room in the afternoon.

Could not connect to hotel internet, wasted 30 minutes trying to do this. Ridiculus

Good location, but it needs some refurbishmentPosted Jan 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a good location if you intend to be around Paulista Avenue and Bela Vista. The rooms are very big, but there was a smell of mould in the room (the shower room is behind a huge wardrobe panelled in wood) and by the third day we started to be allergic to the humidity. The breakfast was good, but average for Brazilian standards and it was served by the lobby as the entrance of the hotel was in refurbishment.

Golden Tulip Hotel in Sao Paulo - clean comfortPosted Jan 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Golden Tulip Hotel in Sao Paulo is central, clean, and very comfortable. I loved the comfort of the bed, among the most comfortable hotel bed I've experienced. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Delicious complimentary breakfast. When I return to Sao Paulo I'm going to stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel again.
