Very modern and comfortable

Posted Jan 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have been staying in various Hiltons and this one was really a step above the others, because it is very recent and very clean. The room is very big and has a very large office area separated from the main room. The bathroom is also very large and all decorated in yellow marble with modern faucets and shower. Breakfast buffet is extensive and of high quality. The only reason why I do not give 5 stars overall is that I had to pay an extra USD 50 for a package containing breakfast, fitness room access and wifi which I believe should be included in the base rate. This made the price of the stay very expensive for my company's standards. The hotel is conveniently located in the Berrini area, with view on the bridge from some rooms.

Expensive Business in Hilton Sao Paulo

Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Price, obtrusive security, Expensive WiFi, poor quality TV
Location: This hotel's only good point.
The hotel is expensive and delivers much less than other hotels at much lower prices. There seem to be more obtrusive security guards than serving staff so one waits in line to be served while security staff look you up and down repeatedly as if you were a criminal. WiFi is expensive when it is offered free by other lower priced hotels. The picture quality of the TV was poor - analogue - even though it was a modern flat screen digital TV and the channel selection was very limited. In today's modern age of digital HD we expect better quality than reduced bit rate snowy analogue. The hotel's only advantage was it was next door to the location where I was doing business.

Great staff and hotel looks great. Not a lot within walking distance to this location but, there are always taxis available...

Great hotel for work. Far from touristy things.

Very good hotel with great rooms, good breakfast, and friendly staff. The concierge was fantastic. Morumbi is a business area and it suited my needs just fine. But you will have to change a couple of trains at least or take a taxi (on the very crowded streets) to go to the tourist attractions. The hotel is located in one corner of a shopping mall...so you need not get out to eat. Plenty of eating and shopping options without getting out of the hotel.
