Great hotel! Not only clean, modern and well-maintained but it also felt very comfortable and luxurious with very attentive and polite staff who made every effort to make the stay pleasant. The hotel itself is ideally situated and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and attractions. I definitely would stay here again.

Impecável! O L’Hotel é um dos melhores hotéis de SP e isso fica evidente em cada detalhe: funcionários extremamente gentis e atenciosos, quarto luxuoso e maravilhoso, mimos na chegada e na saída e um café da manhã espetacular!! É tão perfeito que não dá conta de de ir embora. Não pense duas vezes: vale muito a pena pagar um pouco mais e se hospedar nesse que é realmente um cinco estrelas.

Incredible service!
Excellent hotel- attention to detail to the core. Will be back! I travel a lot for work, and this is by far one of the top hotels. When back in Sao Paulo, this will be the only one I will stay in.

Everything about the hotel was exquisite. We had a room with a gorgeous balcony which made it even more wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and service was perfect. We long to return!

Hotel is in a great location. Service was super loved it. Everyone was eager to please and help, no matter the time. Our stay included breakfast. Service again great, good selection of both hot and cold and you can also order from the menu. All included for the price. We had an executive room with terrace on the first floor. Room was just ok, especially in bathroom. Room needs to be updated some. Bed was good not great. Bathroom had odor, door bolts on hinges were coming out. Door had large white stains. Shower floor was very slippery. Towels were worn to the point of a tear. Overall not what I expected from a 5 star ⭐️ hotel. We did have a spa service, 1 hour massage and please save your money definitely not worth the R340. Overall I would return

Excellent breakfast. Nice mattress . Dirty or stained room carpet. Nice staff. Room needs updating. Our second and last night there was no hot water until 12:00 pm and air conditioning not working. We had to call . It took around 1 hour to be fixed at 11:00 pm. We had fight and left to airport at 5:00am. Hotel is nice but not comparable to Porto Bay Flores in Porto. It is a 3 to 4 star hotel. For two nights I received a total stay charge 2 days before arrival, another total charge for arrival day and a final total charge on the last day. I had to call to the hotel to have this corrected. They corrected the charges right away. Hotel is within steps of Avenida Paulista. Jardín May have been a better location for us. The staff was always nice and attentive. Some renovation is going on on the 8th floor which probably means they are already updating the hotel.

This hotel is a little gem, right in the heart of Sao Paulo. It is just off Paulista Avenue, so is conveniently located, but also quiet. It has 'old world' charm and character, friendly staff, an amazing breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, a small gym and pool. Perfect for a business trip.

Great hotel, great location, but not perfect.
Overall no complaints. The hotel was pretty strict with the check-in time of 3PM, so just bear that in mind, but it was no problem for them to store my luggage. I arrived from the airport around 10:30, so I had some considerable time to kill. The breakfast is excellent, as was the room service I order. The room itself was very comfortable, but there was a total lack of art on the walls. The room was chic, but felt somewhat unfinished. Also during my stay there was considerable construction happening within the hotel. It went till around 7pm the first day (thursday) and the second day started at 7:30am went till 4pm (friday). Over the weekend it was quiet. It was impossible to be in the room while this was happening. It was actually a pretty egregious level of construction noise and it's the only reason why I'm not giving a perfect score for this hotel. I understand that hotels need to do maintenance work, but this was ridiculous. The hotel also seemed pretty nonchalant about it. No apology, no compensation for guests - their attitude was basically "deal with it". The last day I spoke with front desk about it and they were gracious, but again, just didn't really seem to care about how this would be affecting the guests. I was out of the room most of the day anyway, but in the afternoon I wanted to come back and just relax. This was IMPOSSIBLE given the noise of the work being done.

Our first trip to SP
The room was clean and comfortable. Customer service was amazing! Breakfast has a good variety of everything and a few a la carte options. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. My only complain is that the bathroom was super small and some sockets did not work or only worked if the light was on. I would definitely come back.

Bridging through Sao Paulo
In Sao Paulo for s couple of days after a consulting job, bridging to another assignment in Australia. L'Hotel Portbay was perfect in preparation for the long trip. Friendly and efficient staff, very confortable room, excellent location. The prestine status of all areas of the hotel is also something to emphasize. I strongly recommend this hotel, when in business or leisure.

Sophisticated property and service
A wonderful, elegant property right in the heart of the city. Amazing staff, decor, quality, and service. It was my birthday, and they set the table and delivered a wonderful birthday cake surprise!
