Very good location. Subway station directly outside of hotel door. Centrally located at the major finance street of Sao Paulo. Only the lobby staffs speak English. Very safe neighborhood.

Good business hotel

Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: The location and the staff was helpful
Cons: Fix the equipment in the fitness center
Business trip. Hotel was conveniently located. Staff was helpful. Rooms were good- nice that you can open the windows. Breakfast was a good mix of foods and the service was good. The workout area was very limited.

Will stay here again

Full service hotel. Front desk staff speaks english perfectly--very friendly. They scheduled taxi to airport for me (at half the price of the service I paid on the way in). Room is clean and comfortable (some mold in the shower but in my experience it is hard to avoid this in Sao Paulo). Cleaning staff does not come too early and respects privacy signs. Room service is 24 hours-- but I always had to call a few times before someone picked up the phone. In addition, they often run out of things on the room service menu. The hotel restaurant is very nice and convenient, food is good, and the staff is excellent (I scheduled room service through the restaurant one time when the room service staff did not speak english). I would not recommend the breakfast at the hotel. It is overpriced and there are other places in the area for better options. Location is perfect--near two train lines and in walking distance to excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery store (and also to MASP museum). Walk south on Rua Augusta for upscale services, walk north on Augusta for young, hip, gentrifying district. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location in Sao Paulo

Posted Jan 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is centrally located, in the middle of Ave. Paulista. There's a metro stop right in front so transportation is not a problem even if you go around late at night. 10-minute walk to the Jardins for excellent shopping. Church half a block across for those who don't want to miss Sunday mass and don't mind attending in Portugese. Two malls with food courts across and right beside hotel. Hotal staff is friendly and English-speaking. Amenities are modern. We lucked out with the cheap price of this hotel in hotels.com compared to other sites.

Great location

I got a great deal on the price because of Hotels.com, The location was great, Right on the Av. Paulista in front of a Metro station. The only down side is they do not offer a free breakfast ... it is about R$32 or US$15 and not worth it at all. Other than the lack of breakfast, a very good hotel.

Conveniently located business hotel

Posted Dec 9, 2013
Pros: Location, wifi speed.
Location: MASP is a 10 minute walk along the main street, good collection of art pieces, if not very large. Lots of shops nearby.
Hotel is very conveniently located along Avenida Paulista with the Consolocao metro station just outside, a shopping mall across the road and lots of shops nearby. The fashionable shopping street Oscar Freire is just 15 minutes walk away. Service is efficient, rooms are fine for a city business hotel. The rate is very reasonable for a Novotel hotel but breakfast is extra.
