Comfortable and practical
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Location and comfortable bed !
Cons: The bathroom
Location: Within walking distance of key places to visit and in a safe area
Good convenient location. Very comfortable room on the higher floor with wonderful city view. Only downside was bathroom which was a bit old. Service was excellent especially when the hotel agreed to extend my room when my flight home was unexpectedly delayed .

Overpriced Jardins classic hotel
Posted Jan 27, 2012
Pros: gym, service, location
Cons: small room, old-looking
Location: upscale zone, although crowded and traffic is insane
If you want to stay in Sao Paulo Jardins area, then the Renaissance is a good choice. Good, not great, and expensive. Remember you'll be in the middle of traffic madness, so if you want to escape from SP faster go elsewhere, not Jardins. Otherwise this is a good luxury hotel with a great gym and very good service.

Renaissance in Sao Paulo - great for Americans
Posted Jan 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
English speaking staff, nice lobby, clean rooms. Bar is very expensive but it is Sao Paulo. Walking distance to restaurants and the red light district. Nightlife was a few blocks away but not too far. Highly recommended for Americans.

Best hotel value to stay in Sao Paulo
Posted Jan 11, 2009
The hotel is modern, fresh and clean. It is located within walking distance of upsacle shopping street Oscar Freire, which is fully of wonderful boutiques. The concierges at the hotel sent us to wonderful restaurants including two down the street Paris 6, which is great for french fare, and another that had this huge fig tree in the middle of the restaurant. We alkso went to Chao de Fogo and Jardin Churrasqueria which is across the river (but it is a long drive). By cab go to the Desilu Mall, which is out of this world.
