The rooms need a remodel. The beds are way too hard and firm. Provide better bedside tables. Provide Better soap and shower washing supplies. Upgrade the internet speed. Way too slow.

It's a good affordable option to stay within a few minute walk from Paulista. Check-in was smooth, I arrived to Sao Paulo early in the morning and I was able to store my bags with the reception desk until my room was ready at 2pm. Lobby area is pretty small, with minimal air conditioning which was a surprise. The gym is very small, jacuzzi tub was not operational, not sure about the sauna. The photos of rooms and facilities on booking sites were a bit misleading in respect to sizes of the rooms, amenities, and lobby. Overall a decent option to stay in a convenient location.

The Royal Jardins is located in an excellent area in São Paulo. The hotel function s more like an aparthotel. The common areas are fine, including the restaurant. Breakfast was nice, although a bit repetitive. The room was a disappointment: the toilet didn’t function appropriately. The linens and towels looked worn out and feel overused. The have to do a facelift!

The staff were pleasant, location was excellent, and the quality of the room was commensurate with the price. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I also appreciate that they facilitated an early check-in. Cons: I don't know if I needed to request it, but housekeeping did not come to my room during my short visit. Also, I could hear conversations and doors closing in the hallway. It would have been annoying if I spent a lot of time in my room. Overall, positive experience and I would book again.

Great location and free breakfast buffet. Negatives are that the hallway had fresh paint the day we arrived (smelled terribly!) and the staff was initially reluctant to change our room although they eventually did. Also the water went out for half a day, and the cleaning staff wasn’t great - failed to replace our soap and toilet paper, and there was a pee stain on the toilet seat from previous guests. Would stay elsewhere for this hotels of this price range.

Excellent staff and location
Excellent hotel in the centre of Sao Paolo. We arrived early after our flight was changed but no issue with an early check-in for a small fee. The staff were very pleasant and courteous. The hotel was very clean and had a good choice at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again when i return to Sao Paolo.

Excellent staff. Fast check in process. Rooms remodeled nicely. Cold air. Refrigerator in room with bar. Nice electric outlets with adapters built in Very clean. Breakfast buffet probably won’t appeal to most Americans but was okay

Hotel velho e com cobrança de taxa escondida
Reservei o hotel pelo Hoteis.com e na reserva dizia que o preço total já inclui todos os impostos e taxas. Ao fazer o check-in, fui informado que deveria pagar uma taxa de 15% sobre o valor da reserva. Reclamei na hora, mas me pediram para verificar o e-mail de confirmação da reserva e, realmente, no final do e-mail, em letras pequenas, dizia que seria cobrada essa taxa no momento do check-in. Para que fazer uma cobrança dessa forma, ao meu ver, de maneira desonesta? Por que já não incluem todo o valor no preço total pago no momento da reserva? Dessa forma eu teria certeza de quanto eu teria que pagar, e poderia avaliar melhor se gostaria de efetuar a reserva ou não. Fora essa taxa escondida que foi cobrada, o hotel, no geral deixou a desejar. As fotos no site são bem diferentes das condições atuais do hotel. É um hotel velho, apesar de, no geral, estar em boas condições. Mas o quarto (pelo menos o que nós ficamos, no 7º andar) não se assemelhava nem um pouco com o das fotos. As áreas comuns também poderiam passar por uma reforma. O café da manhã foi mediano. Não tem muitas opções, e muitos itens não são repostos imediatamente quando acabam. As mesas também demoram a serem limpadas. O ponto mais positivo acredito que seja a localização. Bastante conveniente e próximo de uma estação de metrô. Enfim, no geral eu avaliaria como uma experiência razoável, mas com certeza não me hospedaria nesse hotel novamente. Por esse preço tem opções bem melhores.

We have booked this room for 68 dollars a night. We had a 10 hours flight from US and went to the hotel to see if we can check in earlier. They have requested a full day charge 68 dollars to check in earlier otherwise we had to wait with 16months old baby at the reception until 2 pm. We told them that we can’t wait with an infant for 6 hours but we were happy to pay some penalties to check in earlier. But no exception. We had to pay full charge for the room. Very polite and friendly staff but I don’t think we will ever stay there again.

Clean modern rooms although very small. Very nice breakfast. Queen bed is two twin beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable in the middle naturally.

Every year I try to stay at this hotel and this time I was a little disappointed. Too noise on upstairs room. For two nights I had lights issue on the room. Service people forgot to add soap on the room on the next day. Overall I still like the hotel staff, always polite and helpful staff.

Decent stay in the heart of SP
This hotel is right off Ave Paulista, but yet in a quieter area. Very short walk to everything you need in SP. Hotel itself is well done and up to date. Bed was fairly comfortable though the "drivers side" was pretty worn down. I just slept towards the middle of it. Bathroom is good size. Breakfast was large and plentiful. Good options and helpful staff. Rooms have little fridge but the hotel does not - for leaving cold items with luggage - staff was not at all helpful on that point but otherwise nice as one let me stay longer in the afternoon as I had checked in from a late flight very late at night. I stayed up high which was nice for the views. Fitness room is ok. Jacuzzi and sauna have to be requested so that is a bit of a hassle. Overall good value for the money.

We rental a car and the hotel not like be responsible for the scratches on the car... not show at camera,and insist to told that happen on the street. We park just at hotel. We like make a police report.

Hotel is well located, facilities are ok and staff is helpful. My only comment on the negative side is that my room 201 got noises from other room , a fan from the outside and from the alley. If you are a sensitive sleeper consider this. Otherwise hotel is ok and for the price by the time I booked and location it was good deal.

Inflexible front desk staff
The front desk clerks were totally inflexible about earlier check ins. Our journey to Sao Paolo was long and exhausting and we arrived at the hotel early. The staff made zero effort to accommodate an earlier check in and simply insisted we wait until check in time at 2pm. The rooms are small and our shower was plugged so water kept overflowing into the main bathroom area. The only great things about this hotel are the location and breakfast.

A/C barely works and is limited. Even running constantly, room never cooler than 70°. Queen bed is actually 2 single beds jammed together. Mattress and pillows very hard. Room is very small. Alrgough good breakfast, nothing else about hotel is good. Definitely not a boutique.

Location,location,location. 2 blocks from paulista ave. Shopping and excellent dining. Well trained staff,very heloful espicially tbe young bell hop who helped us with our Uber setup. A very patient and helpful young man
