Absolutly will never stay at this hotel again. The employees were very kind but the property is awful. Old smely broken. Our room had kne towel my my husband and i. There wasnt even water in the frigobar. The bathroom was outdated and the shower barely had any water coming out. Pqrts of tge shower fell on my husbands head. The soap and other things stunk. This was a 1000 reais per night stay and we spent 500 in drinks abd food. The drinks had bo alcohol in it at all. 135 reais for 10 small beers. No beach service at all but all litle bars at the beach provided chairs and umbrellas. There werent enough staff to attend to customers. We hated the bed abd pillows and couldnt barely see the ocean. We paid extra for a ocean front balcony and had no view. Poop on the grass too. Beach toys left all over tge water in the pool. I cant even write how much we hated everything.. not enough space.
Hotel excelente! Infraestrutura incrível, funcionários educados, confortável.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Terrible experience
They made all mistakes possible. They wanted us to switch two rooms for one and still pay extra. They forgot to give the lock to the safe. When we came back from the beach and my wife was in the shower we noticed they had forgotten to put towels in the room. I couldn’t call them for towels because they had removed the telephone and left no information how to contact the reception. The breakfast had enormous cues as you are not allowed to serve yourself from the buffet. They are saving money by only making the room every fourth day. Truly terrible at the same time as it was one of the most expensive hotels at R$1200 per room and night.
The location is great
The room was pleasant with a door leading to a small terrace and straight out to a garden and on to pool, beach etc.
The views are amazing
The food is good but not great.
Staff is friendly
Excellent sauna with a glass wall overlooking the beach
BUT
Unless you are with a Portuguese speaking person you will have great trouble being understood. No one has a working knowledge of English and only a few could even speak a few words.
Service is friendly but very slow. There are 3-4 people working on the hotel part of the beach for drinks, food, etc. but they rarely look at you or check if anyone needs something; so very slow and annoying.
We paid about C$375.00 per night for two nights. This was at least $100 per night overpriced.
In the room the fan motor made so much noise we could not use it and the a/c did not function very well.
All the beach and pool furnishings were of very low quality and in great need of replacement and updating for a hotel charging what they charge.
The eggs on the breakfast buffet had been cooked in olive oil, not butter, and had a weird taste.
Only one type of jam - guava.
No cappuccino or latte
No bathrobes
No north American compatible plugs
Extremely poor wifi working basically only in the lobby.
