Great hotel with a unique designPosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: The wood-heavy styling and location. Staff are reasonably proficient in English and friendly.
Cons: Hotel services we not highlighted to us and staff seemed a little unsure when asked.
Location: Trek with Sapa O'Chau! Eat at Little Sapa or the market.
We enjoyed Sapa View very much. Although it was misty during our stay, we were sure there would be a better view on a good day. Its slightly down the road from the bulk of main street action so its quieter but accessible to everything nonetheless. If you are trekking with Sapa O'Chau then this hotel is a recommended option because they have an outpost in the lobby which is convenient for payment, information or a meeting point with your guide.

Fantastic view of the mountains and rice fieldsPosted May 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
A slight language barrier but there was usually someone nearby to help. Overall I slept well after the overnight train and enjoyed my stay in Sapa, an amazing part of Vietnam that should not be missed.

Pros: Beautiful and quality wood furnishing. Bedroom with fire place and electric heated mattress pad.
Location: Sapa is a small town. Great experience to walk around for warm clothing shoppings and local produce.
Friendly and informative of minority groups. All you can eat breakfast in an ambience restaurant. Good quality hotel with fire place, cosy bedroom with all basic amenities. Good value for money.

Great location, beautiful view!Posted Nov 19, 2012
Pros: The location, view and restaurant.
Cons: The Hmong women stalked us outside the hotel and waited for us. But that's unavoidable in Sapa!
Location: Great location just outside the craziness of the main streets.
We had a fabulous stay at the Sapa View hotel! The location was PERFECT - being just down the street from the center of town we were just outside of the hustle and bustle of the main streets. We ate at the Tam Tam Restaurant a few times and they had a nice atmosphere and really good chicken with lemon leaves. Ask for recommendations on what is good! We paid a little extra for a room with a view, and boy was it worth it (when the clouds parted!). You won't see it the whole time as the clouds are constantly moving... but when you can, it's breathtaking! We were there in November and it was cold but the heated mattress cover and extra duvet were perfect! The rooms were roomy and comfortable.
Ok hotel but a way out of the townPosted Aug 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel was fine and for the money can't really argue. However I didn't get the type of room I booked which was supposed to have a view of the mountains and a balcony. Also the breakfast was a little basic. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. However the staff were exceptionally helpful and let us check in very early which may explain why we were allocated the wrong room.

Fine hotel - Very nice staffPosted Jul 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
Overall a very pleasant stay. Nice rooms, view and friendly staff. Breakfast was similarly quite good. You could however expect a tiny bit more from hotel in this price-range in Vietnam - One day the room were insufficiently cleaned and another day it wasn't cleaned before very late.
Breathtaking viewPosted Jun 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
The view from our room was amazing. Rooms were fine but we had one with a wet room which we Westerners are not used to! Manager was really helpful and recommended trek and drive which was less touristy, including private guide for the 4 of us, had lunch and happy water with a Hmong family in their home. Guide was great. They are currently doing a refurbishment which will further improve this wonderful facility. Highly recommend this hotel.
