A good place to stay for a short whilePosted Feb 5, 2013
Pros: Free wifi in lobby.
Cons: No wifi in rooms.
Location: Away from all the action
This hotel is located at Nakajima koen subway station. It is not in the heart of city. But it's a peaceful and pleasing location. Hotel has free wifi only in lobby not in hotel rooms. For those staying for many days this might get a bit annoying. Nearest convenience stores & subway station are a few mins walk. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if travelling with families.

Best of our hotels in JapanPosted Dec 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were in Japan for a month for our holidays and was using so many different hotels in Honshu and Hokkaido. Novotel Sapporo was the best we have used there. Everything was great, from the service of the staffs to the breakfast offered.

Novotel SapporoPosted Apr 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
We thoroughly enjoyed our short one-night stay at the Novotel Sapporo. The hotel was conveniently located - easy to find, and located close to the entertainment and shopping area of Sapporo. There was also a Lawson convenience store within walking distance, which was convenient. The staff were very helpful and happily arranged a taxi booking for us for a very early departure. The room was clean, and quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The facilities were all clean and the hotel offered free wifi in the lobby. It would have been great if the wifi access extended to in-room access, but other than this, we had no complaints.

Saporro NovotelPosted Jan 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel is a bit out of location but still ok during time other than a cold winter. Room has no window and can be stuffy. Hotel bus does not operate very frequently and end pretty early in the night..not all the toilet seat has warmer. Front desk staff no so friendly. Overall the hotel is ok if you want a quite place to stay

Very satisfiedPosted Aug 8, 2011
The customer service was courteous and professional. Our room was pretty spacious, for a Japanese hotel, and the bed was very comfortable. Although the hotel is not located in the midst of the action (Ekimae dori), it's just far enough away that we could still walk there easily when we wanted to, while enjoying some peace and quiet at night.

Great breakfast, great hospitalityPosted Apr 27, 2011
I really liked the breakfast buffet for a great price. They offer traditional Japanese food and Western food, plus all kinds of drinks including delicious Hokkaido milk, and desserts including ice cream! The front desk staff were so welcoming. When it started to rain, they even lent me an umbrella. My room was kind of small, but considering the price, it's totally acceptable.

See you in 2013Posted Feb 27, 2011
The hotel located near subway and easy access to Odori or Sapporo stations. The staffs were firendly and assisted in planning our daily sightseeing spots. Will stay there again when in Sapporo.
