Staff was extremely nice!

Pros: The nice staff and delicious breakfasts.
Cons: Our room had a slight musky smell at the beginning, but after running the air conditioner a little while, it cleared up.
Location: Great restaurants, including Wintzell's and Foosackly's, were practically within walking distance, and Walmart and gas stations were nearby.
Hotel staff was extremely nice! My daughter had out-patient surgery and the staff was very accommoding. We stayed a second night and were allowed a late check-out. The breakfast was delicious, and dining area was clean and pleasant.

Close to the interstate

Pros: This hotel was very clean and accessible from the exit of the interstate.
Cons: The ONLY thing that might have been improved was the breakfast staff had a little trouble keeping the buffet filled.
The hotel staff made this hotel experience wonderful. We weren't there long, but everyone from the desk to the cleaning crew were friendly and helpful.

Understaffed

Our stay at this hotel was not bad, but our experience at breakfast caused us to be disappointed. The hotel was booked heavily due to graduations of colleges and universities in the area. Since everyone was trying to eat early and leave for the various schools, the dining area was crowded. The problem was not the crowd, but the fact that the hotel had ONE employee on duty in the area. She was friendly, hard-working, and apologetic about every item running out, but there was NO WAY she could keep up with that crowd alone! Poor management caused everyone to have wait and wait for almost every item, including coffee, which in turn caused the overcrowding.

Clean and Friendly

Pros: Cleanliness, off the beaten path, but still close to shopping, hi ways and more.
Cons: Seems that some of the staff was not ahead of their game. They had to be told or asked to do what should've already been done.
Location: Not a whole lot to do at this exit. It's more of a residential area.
To start with, Expedia slipped in a charge for the 3rd and 4th person in a room with 2 queen beds. A charge that the hotel doesn't require. Might be why their room rate was so cheap. Some of the outlets in the room did not work, and when we notified the front desk, they said they would check into it. 6 hours later when we called them for an update and spoke with a different person, they were not aware of the problem. Turned out to be just a tripped breaker. The breakfast area was very busy and kept running out of food, and when the employee was asked if she had anymore, the answer was surprising. She said there was plenty of food, but that she was only allowed to put so much out every 30 minutes. Regardless of the demand. It just seemed like, everyone there was putting something else first, rather that the customer. It wouldn't have taken much more initiative to make this a more enjoyable experience. No extra mile given here.

Average Motel Night

My wife and I spent one night on our way to New Orleans. The motel was what we expected. The front desk staff was helpful, room was comfortable, breakfast was OK. Nothing outstanding, nothing terrible.

OK, but less than I expected.

Pros: Good breakfast every morning, friendly staff, decent amenities. Decent value for the money. Free computer for the guests to use.
Cons: Housekeeping improvements needed before this place turns bad. The pillows are too small. Water-efficient shower heads suck. Pool and hot tub.
Location: Difficult to find because it is hidden from the main roads nearby.
The Good: Good breakfast every morning, friendly staff, decent amenities. Decent value for the money. Free computer for the guests to use. The Bad: Difficult to find. I found a corn chip and a toenail clipping in my room upon entering. Housekeeping did not empty the trash cans. The pillows are too small. Water-efficient shower heads do not allow enough water pressure to enjoy the shower. My sister could hear snoring through the wall from another guest. Pool was closed and the hot tub was green. Housekeeping did not replace the miniature toilitries as I used them.
