Better than average basic motel

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: comfortable room, was clean, comfortable, basic breakfast
Cons: typical of this typr place, people outside talking loud, but was quiet as night wore on
Location: next to I-75
Place was clean, has had moderate updates. Above average for your basic cheap motel

Thought it was a hotel.... actually a motel.

Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: Not much...
Location: It was convenient to get to off the highway.
This was disappointing. Rooms were clean but exceptionally modest. People milled around in front of their units and chatted until late evening and you could hear every word. When someone took a shower in the next unit the sound of water running was very loud... no idea what that was about. Staff were pleasant enough... I just simply wouldn't choose to stay there again.

Usually greta

Pros: Under 50 dollars a night for a decent place.
Cons: Fix that air conditioner.
Location: We stay there when we sell our goods art craft shows in Sarasota and Bradenton.
We stay here often. Clean, close to a Sonny's BBQ and a mile from a fabulous Thai restaurant. Friendly motel staff, nice little guest goodie bag in room, all the little touches. Our only problem came this trip of two nights when we tried to use the air conditioner on the second night. It didn't cool, probably needing a freon charge or something. It was very late and we were too tired to ask for a room change, so we didn't report it until checkout.

Pros: Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
Location: McDonalds and Waffle House right next door. Other restaurants nearby too. Just off the highway- I 75.
I appreciated the little care package in the room with a map with coupons and some snacks.

Decent, I'd stay here again!

I was in town for an interview at LECOM. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and nice-looking. Although the TV was a little smaller than what I'm used to, I still watched it comfortably for a couple of hours. The breakfast was less than what I was expecting - simply coffee, hot water for oatmeal use, muffins, some fruit, and yogurt. I would've appreciated some milk and cereal.

Good in a pinch but thin walls

Posted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very clean. I have to say that was impressive because most hotels in this price range smell and are moldy and dirty. This one was not! I even walked barefoot on the carpet, which carpet is not sanitary, my feet stayed clean! The front desk when checking in and leaving were both super pleasant. Very friendly and very kind. They keep eye contact and were very pleasant. The room for sleeping on the other other hand. The bed was ok for one night. Pillows are flat. No fluff. The main real issue was there is zero insulation in the walls. So I could hear my neighbors and every time some one used the ice machine....swooshhh wope...dragggggg....That went on for about 30 minutes at 3am. Thus I was woken up 5 times in the middle of the night. But no one was doing anything wrong or loudly it's just there is insulation in the walls. I was in a deep sleep at 3am. The pool is not heated so I did not use it due to the cooler air but it was clean. There are some cracks on the bottom but other than that I would had used it if it had not been cold. Over all the hotel was not bad but I wouldn't stay again due to being woken 5 times. I'm not good without sleep. I'm cranky and no one want to be around a crank.;)

Cheap

Had an interview at a dental school. Drove across country and was looking for something cheap. It was clean enough. Not too comfortable, nut near Walmart and a lot of other stuff.

Decent Room-Disappointing Breakfast

Posted Oct 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Other than Breakfast. Decent room, good ac, nothing horrible, nothing great. Except Breakfast! Breakfast was horrible! I know I have seen several post about how terrible breakfast is I thought Oh they are being picky! As long as they have cereal and milk it will be good! Well they DONT! They had a few prepackaged pastries, Quaker instant oatmeal packets, coffee, and green bananas.
