comfortable & pleasant ..beautiful beachPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Our room had everything we needed. It was close to the beach and to stores.
Cons: The bathroom had poor lighting at the vanity, and the water pressure in the sink was weak.
Location: Location to the beach was maybe a 2 minute walk. The village was about a 5-10 minute drive,to the pubs and restaurants.
Room 200 B, with a private deck was the best. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub daily. Staff and other guest were all friendly. We were close to the beach where sunsets are wonderful.Short drive to the village for shopping and restaurants. For our Anniversary we had dinner at Ophelia's on the Bay ,I recommend this restaurant, just 5 minutes from the Beach Club Hotel. Overall we would stay here again, and hope we do.Siesta Key Beach and the Beach Club Hotel made a great vacation.

A family emergency, my 100 year old mothers health issues, prevented us from well planned vacation between December 28, 2013 and January 3, 2014 vacation to Florida. When I contacted the airline (Southwest) and the car rental company (Thrifty) on December 24th they were more than cordial in honoring my request to cancel the trip and very sympathic to my request. Please keep in mind that these plans were made in August 2013. When I requested a cancellation of our hotel request through Expedia, I was told that the would cancel the hotel reservation at the Beach Club at Siesta Key on my behalf. My request cancellation request was made on Tuesday, December 24 in the am for reservations on Saturday, December 28, 2013 for 6 nights. Even though my credit card was charge the full 6 days about in August 2013, the Beach Club at Siesta Key denied my request and the charge was processed in August 2013 remained on my credit card without any credit being issued. While we were very disappointed we had to cancel the trip, we are very fortunate that my mother continues to hang on to life and we were able to be with her during her final days. Unfortunately, this hotel didn't care about our family emergency, only their income during a peak vacation time. I'm sure they were able to fill the room for those dates after we gave them 4 days notice of our cancellation and really never cared about our personal situation. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!L

Would stay here everytime I am in Sarasota FL!!Posted Dec 10, 2013
Cons: Adjustable lighting in bathrooms
Location: very short walk to the beach and everything you could think to rent (kayaks, boats, jet skis, paddleboards, etc) is very close by...
The staff was very friendly and the facilities were very well kept. The condos are gorgeous and very modern. I will stay here everytime I visit Sarasota FL. Highly recommended.

Spacious, convenient, and relaxing!Posted Dec 9, 2013
Pros: Large and comfortable rooms, proximity to beach, pool area.
Cons: Later check-out time.
Excellent experience at the Beach Club, which was about a three minute walk to the beach and near several other restaurants (about a 20 minute drive to downtown Sarasota). The room was fantastic: large, clean, and full of useful amenities (free wi-fi, washer/dryer, kitchen with several dishes available, etc.). The pool area and hot tub were like a little oasis. Highly recommend, will stay there whenever we're in Sarasota/Siesta Key again!

Presentation OK until you want to shower and sleepPosted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Easy to find. The verandah outside the apartments.
Cons: needs sound proofing.
Location: The Italian restaurant close by was good. The beach is close by.
First impression was OK. Apartment was impressive, nicely equipped. Late night shower in cold water as there was no hot water. Staff thought I did not know how to use the shower controls, but upon checking found the taps on hot. There was a smell in the apartment of dirty mop. Sleeping was a disaster, bed was saggy, very very noisy from other apartments of furniture moving, could hear toilets flushing, people walking talking, children running.

Great stay in Siesta KeyPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: Full Size Kitchens, Gas grills, close to the beach.
Cons: Needs some new decking and paint. Could also use some new beach chairs.
Location: Within walking distance of some nice restaurants and rentals for kayaks and bicycles.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Beach Club. We always enjoy, especially the full size kitchens. New gas grills were a plus, but the units themselves are starting to show some wear, especially on the outside. Could use some paint and new decking.
