“Great location and great price”
Hotel room was spacious; clean and quiet. Located in a good neighbor in Sarasota.

This is a great hotel that is in close proximity to the beaches, restaurants (many within walking distance), downtown, and other places of interest. The hotel is older but has been updated; the rooms were clean and the staff was very accommodating. Great pool area...I would definitely stay here again.
“We highly recommend”
This is an older motel, but it has recently been remodeled and is very well maintained. Everything was great: staff, lush landscaping, clean and comfortable guest room, continental breakfast, Sweetbay Grocery Store just across the street. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We stayed 4 days. Everything was very nice. Quiet, clean. Friendly staff. Frig and microwave in room was nice surprise. Breakfast was better than many, but not as good as some - fruit, rolls bagels, french toast, cereal, juice, milk, etc. We would definitely return. Shopping center on one side of hotel, small rest. on other side. "Downtown" restaurants a mile north. Convenient if you want a bottle of wine or a Chipotle before turning in.
“convenient location, great price”
I'll admit my expectations were not that high, given the cheap price.But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, and the hotel had a makeover a few years ago. The bathroom was great, I love when the shower has good water pressure. I would definiely go back.
“BEST hotel in Sarasota”
I did clinicals at Sarasota Memorial Hospital-1 block away from Best Western. I only planned to stay for a week & ended up staying a month (minus weekends). Sylvan & Jonas at the front desk were great! I asked to stay in the same room (#123) upon my return on Monday & they pulled through for me every time. It was a home away from home. Fridge, microwave, coffemaker, hairdryer, & business services free of charge. Pool was great with a little deck and grill. Only bad thing....they raised their prices so now I stay at a crappy hotel down the street :(
