Seaside family style

Posted Jan 30, 2015
That means the feeling that it doesn't come with that all of that modern hotel convenience polished stuff, but rather with that home-made, slightly "do-it-yourself" quality. Perhaps that's a plus, given children that need showers, fast food, and track sand on the floor. So I should give it a 3, with a bent upward to a four.

Nice surprise!

Posted Jan 23, 2015 on Hotels.com
Beautiful, cozy place within an enclave of small hotels of the same company. Very short walk from any if them down a short central well-lighted pathway. The sand is so clean and smooth! The pool is centrally located and beautiful. The whole experience made us feel tucked away in an exclusive resort. Town is very cute. Walkable if you're in shape. Pleanty of food options and shopping. Recommend "Eat Here" restaurant. We''ll go back next time we're in the area. Close to Sarasota.

Sigh :-)

Posted Jan 23, 2015
We drove 24 hrs for a weekend class. When we arrived at 10 pm, a note and key were left for us as expected. I walked into the room hoping for a good nights rest and found a very clean and comfortable room. There was enough room for all of us and the beds were divine. I would stay here again.

The hotel was under construction while we stayed there. I was woken up at 8:00 in the morning to the sound of power tools. They changed my room to another. Things like this happen, but I was not impressed with the hotel. Would not stay there again.

Für junge Leute mit wenig Budget ok

Posted Jan 12, 2014

Posted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com

cute little place in a small road of beach resorts

Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: location and neighborhood and especially the bed
Cons: a few updates but it really has charm the way it is.
Location: Miguels is one of our favorite restaurants and the beautiful beach.
wanted to stay somewhere on the water an found this on the internet. When I got there everything was ready. Most comfortable bed. Slept more there than anywhere else in ages. The room wasn't fancy but it was very well equipt. Great shower as well. Will stay there from now on when I go see my Dad.

great location but trading on it.

Posted Nov 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Sara Sea group of apartments is in a great location near to lovely Siesta Beach and with a pleasant garden and pool available to all the holiday apartments. However the Captiva apartments are run down and poorly managed. The kitchen and bathroom are dated and worn…. The rubbish was not emptied for nearly a week in spite of the bins being overflowing when we arrived. It was difficult to get the room cleaned and management were apathetic. They have started to update half of the rooms and maybe once it is all finished it will be worth staying there but too late for us. The two other places we stayed on this holiday were excellent and much better value.
