With services to accommodate most any visitor, Captiva Beach Resort offers 20 immaculate guest rooms and suites, rooms ranging from efficiencies to two-bedroom suites. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, the convenience and option of outside dining in the tropical gardens, BBQ’s and access to beach chairs & umbrellas at the beach for a minimal charge and beach toys at no charge. The ever-so-clean rooms, the manicured grounds, and the guest services are what have earned Captiva Beach Resort top honors among guests and organizations for more than 28 years.
Rooms
Captiva Beach Resort has 20 guestrooms. We offer Free WI-FI, DirectTV with Free HBO. All units feature microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms offer some with separate bathtubs and showers, and complimentary toiletries. Additional amenities include sofa beds (twin in Getaway +and Queen sofa bed in Escape +), separate sitting areas, and climate control.. In addition, amenities available on request include irons/ironing boards and wake-up calls. Housekeeping is offered on request. Cribs (infant beds) are available. All guestrooms at Captiva Beach Resort are non-smoking

We love this place. The staff was very nice and helpful. I read few reviews before booking this resort and I found few comments very helpful. I read in one previous review that someone come to the door and knock before the check out time that it was at 10 am. NOBODY bother us at all. We have a big truck and the office manager let us parked on her parking space also our room was ready to check in around 11am and she let us check in early without a problem. The room wasnt a big room but it was good enough for 2 people. The bathroom was neat and clean and the whole room was clean. We really liked this place and we are already planning to go back again.

We absolutely loved it. We needed a quiet get away and that's exactly what we received. the only complain was we were not told ahead of time that we had to pay $20.00 a day for a chair with an umbrella. We were asked to move and we didn't appreciate it.
“Getaway near the beach”
This hotel is wonderfully situated a very short walk to gorgeous Siesta Key beach and has a lovely pool. My only real complaint is the size of the rooms - which are very small. There is little floor space to walk around the bed to bathroom or kitchenette. But the reality is I spent very little time in the room and one can easily make it work.

We enjoyed our stay. 'home sweet home' was lovely - spacious, comfortable, very clean, very nice furniture, full kitchen. Will definitely go to Captiva Resort again. Breath taking beaches.. My family loved it!
“Don't go until renovations are completed”
The hotel room and surrounding areas were very clean. The only complaint that we had was that the room that we were provided had an EXTREMELY small bathroom. Luckily my wife and I are not large or obese or else we would not have been able to get to the toilet because there was about a 18" opening between the sink counter and the shower stall which needed to be passed through in order to get to the toilet. The shower stall was very small as well and the shower head placement made it very difficult to take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom, At check out I told the office staff that I thought that the bathroom was unfit and was told that they agreed and that Captive Beach Resort was under new management as of 1/1/11 and there were plans to begin a remodeling project by September of 2011. I would not recommend this resort until after the remodeling project is completed and be sure to inquire about the bathroom renovations.
“Never stay at this property- it is a ripoff”
"Not Recommend' would to an understatement for this property. For the price we paid, we would had expected to get a room you could at least put down your luggage in. tough changing cloth's from the trunk of a car. To coin a phrase' living in a matchbook' would have been an improvement! If you want a view- well if you a view of garbage-is just up your alley! and the cinderbox view beyond was just breathtaking! the other challenge is that unless you very skinny forget about getting around this room(should say closet). I did like that we could have been in bed and made tea on top of the stove without even getting out of bed! TV- well if you far sited- no worries- screen is about 12" from your face while in bed. From a customer service perspective- person at the front desk was very nice and understanding- the person who own's the property-well just say he wouldn't give us a refund because 'we had already checked in" Finally- you guessed it- Did go into the room but didn't stay at the property and will never recommend it or go there again.
