“Best of All Worlds”

Very nice rooms, great beach area & sunset views, nice pool area....met some really nice people staying there. Will definitely go back again. Nice management too.

“Big Disappointment”

Office hours listed in all of the published materials are not accurate, nor are the hours listed on their voice mail. When we arrived (4:50 p.m. Sunday), the office was already closed. We were left an envelope. The keys did not work. Left a voice mail, no contact. Went back to main office, called cell phone listed on door. Response was quick and new keys were issued. They charge $18/day if you want your room cleaned, including fresh towels. Office didn't open before 10:00 and it's questionable when it did open. We had to walk to the main office to turn in dirty towels and get clean ones. Trash was not emptied without paying the $18.00/day. TV remote control didn't work...again, had to wait until someone was in the office. No telephones in the rooms. Carpet dirty. Bathroom had bad smells. Parking is a little difficult. Would not stay at Club Bamboo again.

Area recommendations

Restaurants expensive but very good...recommend Sharkey's and Old Hamburg's Schnitzelhaus

Sharkey's was very good as was Old Hamburg Schnitzelhaus, but both expensive.

“Great location - Room needed a de-humidifier”

This was a very nice hotel. The staff did a good job of cleaning and keeping things neat. Room needed better ventillation as the air conditioner was not strong enough to keep the humidity at a decent level. Overall for the price and the location, I would definately visit again!

“Perfectly Adequate”

We were expecting clean, comfortable accomodations for a family of 3 and that's exactly what we got. We were very pleased. (Although, we did have to stack up the two fold out mattresses to make the fold out bed comfortable for a 13 yr old). Great balcony view of a beautiful, walkable, pristine beach. We wanted a very laid back, quiet, beach trip, and this is the perfect location for that. Due to cool weather, we didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice and clean. We chose this location as a base for day trips to Anna Maria one day, and then to Sanibel another day. It's not luxurious, but again, we weren't expecting that. I'd definitley visit again for a nice, economical place to stay.

“Club Bamboo South THE BEST”

If you like a relaxing place where you have a Balcony over looking the Gulf of Mexico, Dolphins swimming by, Birds of all kinds, this place has EVERYTHING. The room had a FULLY Equipped Kitchen. We never left our room except to go to the beach. Very helpful staff at the desk as well. Ask about Island Gourment as well. The Best food delivered right to the room.

“Great place to enjoy the Beach!”

Very nice kitchenette with up to date appliances, granite countertop and stools. Smartly painted room that is well furnished. I really liked the upgrade flat screen tv and I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious beach view balcony and the great outdoor pool, as well. I was very impressed with the accomadations and would most definitely return again for another relaxing beach experience.
