Pros: The entrance was inviting and attractive. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nothing not to like!
Location: The river walk was a great distraction from the "travel anxiety" we had had all day!
The hotel was wonderful. The only negative comment I have is in finding the entrance. There were great signs from the highway but when you get on the road to the hotel the entrance has a small, perhaps 15 to 18 inch in diameter sign close to the ground at the "entrance". We passed it and had to turn around. Not a big deal. Our friends met us there and somehow wound up downtown and drove around in circles for a time before seeing the sign. They thought it was a big deal!

Eh Not overly happpy

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Pool area beautiful
Not happy with it at all. First of all a small bag of chips 2.50 really? Second we had to leave hotel at 6;30 am the only way to get a tea was the pay at the coffee bar. Well even though that was unacceptable I would have done it as I had a two hour drive to Orlando, but there was no one there to serve it. Are you serious a MARRIOTT and I couldn't get a free tea for the road. Shameful. Was very dissapointed. Best western gives free tea for goodness sakes.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for sharing your recent experiences with me regarding your stay with us. The market prices are based on our retail costs which reflects a higher charge to the guests compared to a high volume supermarket. Complimentary in-room tea is not generally a standard for Courtyard Marriotts however, we have implemented complimentary tea to be offered upon request. Thank you once again for bringing these items to my attention so that we may find ways to improve our amenities and services. Sincerely, Tom Jung General Manager

A good family hotel (but 25mins drive to Sarasota)

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Room size and pool.
Cons: The proximity to Sarasota can not be changed! It is what it is.
Location: Despite not being in Sarasota as indicated by the hotel name the riverside location is pleasant. Good to watch the kids at the nearby skate park.
A great room which was large and well laid out for a family with kids, including a good sofa bed. We enjoyed the large pool and the riverside location. Initially I found this hotel when searching Sarasota and was surprised by how far it is to drive (circa. 25 mins). However, I would choose to stay here again.

Lovely view of the river

Very clean facility. The staff is polite and professional. The little cafe downstairs has service all day. It is a nice change from a formal restaurant. I enjoyed my peaceful night on the river.

Quiet, Accessible & Nice Location

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Accommodations were great with separate sitting room. Location was also very good and safe. Free and very good internet access.
Cons: Perhaps in room entertainment such as movie rentals.
Location: Did not do any sightseeing, but location appears to be good proximity to all... Bradenton, Sarasota and Tampa only 50 minutes drive.
Convenient to all local and major roads. Located on river with a nice riverwalk park, which includes skate & bike park, playground, beach volleyball and beautiful, peaceful views.

Overnight stay while traveling

Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms
Cons: Better mapping directions
The hotel was great, although parking was a challenge. Not knowing the area, we had a very difficult time finding the hotel.

Nice Hotel for business in Bradenton

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, nice bed. A/C unit noisy, hard to listen to TV or Music when it comes on.
Cons: A/C unit is very noisy and thermostat erratic
Location: Close to City center and Hospital...Everything, restaurants, bars, etc. are a good 10 to15 minutes drive away. Beaches, museum, etc. is 30 minutes dr
Hotel is centrally located if you are in for business in Bradenton. Not close to any restaurants or other activities, mainly a commercial type location. Don't be fooled by the River location, nothing going on there. It is very clean and staff is always ready to assist. On site Starbucks bistro has nice menu for light fare.
