The room and property was good. Very comfortable bed. Location in the center of city with shops and restaurants. Our room was never cleaned throughout our three day stay. Hot water came only sporadically. There was leftover old coffee in our machine. No free breakfast was a bummer considering the price.

Excellent recently rebuilt hotel. Huge shopping and dining options close by. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean— with mini- frig, microwave and bar sink. Excellent fitness center!

Convenient location and free parking. We asked for cleaning service every day and didn’t get it. The tub had some black marks and looked like a little mold in corners. Bed was way too short for my husband. Staff was friendly and the gentleman taking care of the bar was wonderful and provided excellent service. Overall I probably would find another hotel to stay in next trip.

I stay here everytime I visit my son, there was construction which was very inconvenient, you had to walk around the building to get to the front desk which was a problem when I had to leave at 4:00 am for Uber. I had to walk through a dark parking lot. I feel a discount should be given on the room rate when construction is being done during your stay, not to mention the noise which was also very disruptive

We had to book this property after our flight home got cancelled so it was totally a random pick based on what airlines told us. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful to us.

The big selling point about this hotel is its location - so close to area shopping and dining. It's also very close to Hwy 75 for easy on and off. But there is too little staff, and those present are curt and not friendly or helpful. The door did not auto-close securely (major safety issue) and the shower stall had a very slippery. TV was not great, the beds were not firm, and the noisy outdoor pool was open after 10 pm located right under our room. Not terrible - but not particularly impressive. The area Hampton is better.

Appreciate the extra effort from Victoria.
I always take time to acknowlege when someone does a good job. There was apparently some water damage to the hotel, including the gym. I travel a lot and it is difficult to stay fit and sane while on the road, so it's an annoyance when the gym is closed. I told Victoria at the front desk and she called over to the Hampton Inn so I could use their gym, that was a nice gesture and the people at the Hampton were great. I just wanted you to know those small gestures make a huge difference to someone like me who travels a lot.

Good hotel great location but expensive
A good hotel I have stayed at many time but over $300 per night is a price hike beyond . I accept we are in recovery from COVID but prior this was a $200 a night with taxes .

Disappointing
We were there for only one day. One of The concierge personnel was not very friendly. I do not understand why she took over checking us in when the other person was already doing it and then proceeded to be quite curt. The room had fingerprints all over the desk, the wardrobe, fridge …I literally cleaned it before we used anything at all. Thankfully, we traveled here in our own car so I had my wipes etc handy. The bathroom and toilet etc had to be sprayed down. We paid over $400 but it was definitely not worth it and it was price gouging at its finest because of the regatta. Adding insult to injury, the breakfast options were almost non existent and they don’t even have complimentary coffee or tea? Who does that? I was very surprised and disappointed so this will be our first and last time at any of this level Marriott establishments.
