“No complaints”

This hotel is a little difficult to find as it is located in the far corner of a large shopping plaza. However, the signage is excellent, so it is possible. It is very close to I-75 and all sorts of restaurants. You can get to Sarasota or Bradenton from this location. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

“Hampton Inn & Suites”

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I greatly enjoyed the hospitality. I would highly recommend to a friend.

“Will stay there again”

The experience was overall excellent. There was a little confusion with our reservation and the first person we were dealing with was not handling it very well. There was another person later though that handled it great and the problem was fixed. The way it was handled in the end caused the raiting of "4" on quality of staff and their service rather than a lower rating. The room was awesome - King Studio Suite. The bathtub/shower could have been a little bigger, that was the reason for the "4" rating on comfort of room.

“SRQ University Park Hampton Inn”

Our party had 3 rooms. One room had the closet door off the hinge, but the staff fixed it the next morning. We requested a fridge for the room, the hotel was short, but gave us one the second day. Due to confusion on our part, we had double booked reservations and prepaid via Expedia on one, the hotel double billed us, but upon inquiry investigated and reversed the credit card charges the same day. The brfeakfast bar became our living/dinning room away from home where we were joined by family and friends from the local area. Some of our party used the fitness center and pool with satisfactory results. The location is very convenient. In short the staff was responsive to all our problems, the rooms were clean and quiet. What more can you expect? The hotel was an excellent setting for our family get together.
