Nice getawayPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Comfort and quietness.
Cons: Sprucing up the walls with new paint and upgrade of bathroom fixtures would help.
Location: Although not on the beach, it is a close drive with several restaurants, bars and shops nearby.
This is an older motel that has been remodeled. It is not on the beach. However, it was relatively quiet and was quite comfortable. The facilities were clean, and the mattress was good. Would return.

Nice hotel, very close to Siesta KeyPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Pool, having a kitchen in the suite, proximity to beaches and city.
Cons: Replace TVs or improve reception; replace living-room furniture in suite 102.
Location: Amazing beaches, good food, downtown Sarasota close by.
Nice hotel and good value. The bedroom in the suite was nice, but the TVs need to be replaced, as does the living-room furniture. Beautiful pool. So close to Siesta Key beaches, and also close to downtown Sarasota. I would stay here again.

Nice suite hotel, close to everything!Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: The proximity to the beach was terrific.
Cons: I noticed bits of trash here and there on the walkways. Some trash cans & "sand cans" around the facility would probably add a lot to the property.
Location: We were there to visit family & do some diving.
My son, 24 yrs old, & I stayed here for 2 nights. It was a one bedroom suite. They only had a king-sized know bed "available", so I don't know if suites are available with 2 twins or 2 doubles. But there was a sofa bed in the living room so we were fine. It's about a 15-20 min. walk to the beach which was also nice as the traffic was typically horrendous. A minimal continental breakfast is offered (complimentary). The staff is very pleasant.

Good location, hotel is a bit old, a bit priceyPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Size of the suite.
Cons: Noisy AC unit.
Location is good, suite is large and comfortable. Has all amenities for cooking etc. Overall the property seems to be a bit old. Beach and the Siesta Village are nearby and about 10 ~ 15 minutes by drive. The living room appeared to have no AC unit. The AC unit in the room was too noisy. TV present in both the room and the living room. Did not have breakfast there, so not sure how it is, but seems the normal fare. I would recommend it to others, good if you don't get any other. The ones closer to the beach are much more expensive.

The photos look nicer than the actual hotelPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: That is was a short drive to beaches and downtown Sarasota.
Cons: Rip up the wall to wall and tile. Up grade the bathroom. Put better natural fabrics on the beds.
Location: Siesta Key. Downtown Sarasota.
The photos look much nicer than the actual hotel, and it was truly disappointing, I hate to say as the staff was very nice. The beds have that slippery polyester type bedspread on them. The bedroom floor had some rough fake wall to wall carpeting on it. The furniture was cheap and simply okay. The bathroom had a tiny tub and was nothing to write home about. I guess I would sum it up as saying it was adequate, but according to other reviews and the photos I was expecting quite nice. It was not quite nice. Also it is located on a really ugly strip, but a redeeming quality is that is is very close to Siesta Key,and a short run into downtown Sarasota.

Good dealPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: Staff is helpful and breakfast was great
Location: Close to the beach! Great restaurants nearby.
Just came home from a 5 day stay. Room is clean and has been remodeled. Remember, for the price, you can't do much better. Just wish we could still be there in sunny Florida.

12 days stay.Posted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Please refer to the section above.
Cons: Please refer to the section above.
Location: The location is nearly perfect for the beach (Siesta Key). Many attractions (museums, parks, shopping centres, restaurants, bookstores, etc.) close by.
Warm welcome. Much improved breakfast. Room 103 neat. Inside lighting inadequate for reading. Two t.v. but no HD. Maid service adequate but no room service for one day out of the 14 days -we mildly complained and we were given towels, etc. at the office. Maid service time varied from one day to another. Rooms rented for more than one day were serviced at different hours of the day and serviced last every day We had the impression that rented rooms for more than one day were less important than the rooms rented on a daily basis. Dinnerware and glassware at minimum. Some rooms had chairs to sit outside but others did not. Outside lighting in the evening and during the night at a minimum. Great pool area with chaises longues, towels, clear pool water, bright sun, etc. ! Despite some inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay.
