“Will go back!”

This hotel has a great location for those wanting to hang at the beach, as well as within walking location to many restaurants, bars and shopping. It is NOT within walking distance to a grocery or liquor store. Pool was great (crystal clear), but is deep (up to 8') if you have little ones(it does have a shallow end though). Sunday brunch was quite the spread with plenty of choices to satisfy almost anyone (and reasonably priced). Hotel is older and starting to show signs of it, but was clean. Although not right on the beach, it is directly across the street from the beach which is clearly visible from room balcony and the streeet you cross is not a busy one and was not an issue to cross. The beach has beautiful white sand and has life guards spread up and down it. Free use of beach chairs, and towels was an added perk. We would definitely go back

“Average”

The staff was not very friendly. You have to walk across a street to the water, not a busy street but you are not right on the ocean. The pool is very deep if you are taking kids, take floaties. You are walking distance to St Armand Circle, nice shopping and food. If you don't have a car, there are no gas stations/grocery stores in walking distance.

“Fun weekend on the beach”

Front Desk was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very kind of small but very clean and well presented. Every room has a balcony which is awesome. With in walking distance of shopping and dinner. Restaurant on the 7th floor was very good with great pricing, not your typical hotel food prices. Room service was prompt. Lido Key is a beautiful beach. Great place just to get away for some needed R & R. We'll be back!

“Great location, good value”

The second time we stayed at this hotel. Best thing about it is the really great location, ocean views and short walk to St Armand's circle. Room comfort is fine although walls a little thin. If you want to stay in that area, this hotel is a solid choice. We did not try the restaurant or sevices as we preferred to walk to the circle so can't comment on those.

“Worth to comeback”

I will comeback to this hotel again. It is nice and has a good location. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants in one of the best areas of Sarasota. However it could improve the quality of the beach's chair and umbrellas. They are old and not enough.

“Perfect beachfront location”

Hotel is located directly across the street from a wide, clean beach. North end is less occupied, and entire hotel area beachfront is accessible and not overcrowded. There is a public beach south within walking distance which is more people-filled. Hotel has a supply of towels and chairs to make your beach time more pleasant. Hotel staff is pleasant and attentive. Oceanview rooms are worth the extra cost. Top floor has a restaurant with nice views as well. Howeer, food is mediocre and full-priced. The cost of the meal includes the view, I guess. Not the newest, shiniest holidy Inn on the planet, but the location makes up for a lot. Within walking distance of St. Armand's Circle, with stores, restaurants and bars available.
