Close to beach and entertainmentPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: location and a helpful staff
Cons: golf course was in disarray save for a few holes.
Location: eating and shopping in St Armand's square
The resort was beautiful, with a friendly staff and great location. The beach is pristine for the sun worshippers and the resort provides many rental options for those requiring more energetic distraction. Located so near St Armand's, restaurants and shopping are a short trip away.

very disappointing, grossly overpricedPosted Jun 8, 2015
I stayed twice in the past 10 days. Lagoon view buildings are tacky. Toiletries weren't replaced from 1 day to another. Toothbrush glasses were left dirty. 2nd time we checked in late, no one led us to our building which was difficult to find in the dark. I had 2 more reservations made for June and July and I cancelled them for the Ritz Carlton

Was supposed to go to Puerto Rico but flight got cancelled. Did this on a whim and it was the best decision ever. The rest of my trip was disasterous including return as flights got cancelled and we got stuck in Atlanta. I am thankful the actual stay was wonderful.

Exceptional resortPosted May 10, 2015
Pros: Location, professional staf and unbelievable amenities.
Cons: We loved it all!
Location: Perfectly situated to take advantage of lovely Sarasota, vibrant St. Armand's Circle and gulf beaches.
The Long boat Key Club is a most exceptional resort facility providing beautiful accommodations, excellent dining options, friendly & professional staff, wonderful amenities. The golf courses are beautiful and the tennis facility unbelievable! The tennis staff was really top notch with inexpensive clinic options from truly professional pros. I cannot say enough about this property and am so looking forward to going back!

Excellent choicePosted Mar 25, 2015
Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Plenty of room for family of four, including one teenager. The resort was wonderful, and very relaxing. Service at the beach and poolside was excellent - never a problem getting a pair of lounge chairs and an umbrella, even though it was spring break. We also took advantage of the free bike rentals to head into town each day for lunch, without problem. Only weakness was that the rooms were somewhat (but not terribly) dated, but really wasn't much of an issue as we didn't spend too much time there. TIP: if you want to have dinner at one of the resort's nicer restaurants, be sure to make reservations with the concierge a few days in advance.

enjoyed everything,Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: most everything
Cons: earlier check in time, drop the gratuity tax on food and drink at the pool, good service deserves a tip, should not be forced to tip..
Location: The Beach what else!
