Poor conditions

Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: The guest attention and mattress more comfortable.
The mattress uncomfortable, the clean towels were not read when I came back at noon. We were at 3:30 at the beach too and we came back at 5:30 and the clean towels weren't ready.

Cons: so many. simple things like don't have a flat screen tv and an analog connection so the picture is incredibly fuzzy.
I should have seen the red flags early on. I tried to call the hotel and ask some questions before I booked. I found the number from a google search and no one answered. I tried a little later and no answer. I went to the the website to conform the number and called again no answer. We booked the hotel anyway. We got there and the outside looked pretty nice, but the pool was much smaller than the pictures made it look. We booked a 2 queen bed room. As we entered the room it was fairly obvious that the beds were full beds. I called the front desk and to my surprise no one answered. I went to the front desk. They reluctantly agreed that it was full size beds. They said they did have one room that was clean that had 2 queen beds. I went to the room and it had quite a funk. I choose to remain in the original room. I just was not satisfied.

Pros: NOTHING!!!!!!
Cons: Everything maybe take it down and make it into a parking lot.
Location: Venice Beach
Noise Staff would not answer the phone could not get the password for the internet, could not contact the office for anything! Room was low on the kept up scale. I will not be back and don't recommend at all. We booked for two days but couldn't get any sleep because of all the noise and beating on the doors at 6:30 am. We left at 7:00 am and booked a room at Ramada. They refuse to give us a refund for the night that we didn't use, so we are out a nights sleep and a day's room rent! Not Good................

Pros: location to where I needed to be.
Cons: Replace the carpet and the beds. Redo the shower area.
After spending $100.00 on a room you would expect something decent. The beds were old. The carpet stained. The mold in the shower was horrible. The soap from the last guest still in the shower. I told myself the sheets were clean just to get through the night. I was under the impression it was recently renovated.....maybe in 1990!

Pros: Nice pool area and upper deck for sitting out in the evening. Nice waterfall and landscaping.
Cons: The breakfast is pretty sparse, cold cereal and a few donuts. They were out of milk one morning. Once the new McDonald's opens next door go there.
Location: Easy access to all the many beaches, lots of restaurants all long Hwy 41.
Really easy access to restaurants and the many beaches. It was a pleasant stay...

One Night

Pros: The beds!
Cons: A bit more generosity in the soaps, shampoo and towel department.
Location: Location was Venice, Florida. Came to visit family and visit beaches.
Stayed one night while visiting family. There was confusion about my reservation, not sure whether the fault was Expedia's or motel's. The room was clean, however, we did see 2 roaches when we first came. The soap dispenser did not work properly and very little soap was dispensed for a shower. We could have used a lamp between the beds. However, the beds were very comfortable and gave support without being hard. We had a very good night's sleep, which was the purpose of our stay! The continental breakfast was nice and coffee hot and ready without that burnt smell and taste. There was a fairly large discrepancy between the receipt given by the motel and the charge made by Expedia. I did get a refund of the difference after 2 calls and a very lengthy wait for a supervisor.

Pros: Close to historic downtown area and Venice Convention Center.
Cons: Air Vent in bathroom dripped water, some mold in back of refrigerator, musty smell.
Room faces busy Route 41...very noisy...road noise especially on Friday night.
