I love tortuga Inn every year we visit this place twice and always is wonderful to stay here. The staff is really friendly and helper. The location is the most convenient across the beach and you can enjoy the best sunset ever. I will return soon on summer time.

Absolutely a perfect location! The staff is amazing. Such a paradise! Our only complaint is the inability to affect the temperature of the shower. It was either burning hot or ice cold. Our efforts to adjust were in vain. We wondered if a new faucet was in order and gave up trying to have a comfortable shower. We did not bring this up. I’m sure that if we had they would’ve have been very accommodating. Overall- we would love to return to this hotel!

Our unit was an upstairs. No elevator which wasn't a big deal except when lugging suitcases up and down. Pool is great. Beach with chairs across the street is nice. We were there during spring break so roads and bridge traffic very heavy. I would not recommend spring break week. Room was ok except for the bathroom, especially the shower. Full walk in shower, no tub. All tile and slick when wet. No shelf or bench to set product on and no bath mat or grab bars. Should have both for safety reasons. I would suggest they remove the bidet as it takes up too much room. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking which did do after eating out the first night. Waits for service and food was very long. Again due to being local spring break. There is a nice Publix's on the Island to stock up on food and drink. The air conditioning is a hotel style window unit and very close to the bed. It was noisy and hard to control the temperature. Central air would make the unit much more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, we had a nice stay. I would consider another stay I a lower level with no steps and better AC.

This was our first trip to this facility. We went there for the beach and to see two Spring Training Pirates games at Lecom Park. We would definitely consider it again on a future trip.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was comfortable and the beach was just across the street. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella were provided. Lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

This property is definitely that "old Floridian Feel" . I do love the quaintness of this property. For this establishment being older, it was very clean and tidy. There are many shops and restaurants to walk with in a mile radius. The only issue we had with the actual hotel is the weird and wacky shower.

The staff was extraordinary with shopping and jewelry tips especially. They were always smiling, helpful, courteous and the place was very well kept. It was perfect location and just walk across street with beach chairs provided. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was and will definitely be coming back to visit. Trolley stop right outside door along with exceptional beach views.

Quaint place, great location
We absolutely loved this quaint litte resort. The location is fabulous. Someone had an accident in the main pool and it took almost 3 days for it to be cleaned so I was dissapointed in their lack of urgency, but the beach was a great alternate and we were able to use a sister property pool a block or two away. There is a nice beach restaurant, mexican restaurant, and small gift shop within a 5 min walk. Jetski and paddleboard rentals right on the beach in front of the resort. You do have to cross a busy road to get from the resort to the beach. The crosswalks all along Bradenton Beach are surprisingly non-existent. Hopefully the town can make improvements there. Overall, we are super happy with our stay!!

Not Bad, Could Be Better for Price
The room was great except the broiler in the oven smoked terribly and there was no exhaust over the stove and the window was difficult to open. Pier lighting did not work. Our private spa was not working due to the hurricane, but they did have the private pool next door up and running. So I guess we were not a priority. The neighbors next door in the large rooms with the private pool had at least 30 people there and were extremely noisy and they burned something outside that smelled like trash. I had been looking forward to lounging on the terrace with a book but the noise gave me a headache and the smoke clogged my sinus making it hard to breath. I had to stay indoors. If you go, take beach chairs. They say they provide them and they do but they are big/heavy loungers you have to drag/carry from the road out to the water.

phone was a prop(no hook up line),shower floor slippery (a fall hazard, faucet knob fell off. a/c was very loud and ceiling fans made noise. the 2 light vanity light had a burned out bulb. toilet ran after flush about half the time. free dryers were dirty and didn't really dry

Our favorite place to stay! Accommodations are clean and of great quality. Steps from the beach where lounge chairs are provided and walking distance from restaurants. We had an issue with our air unit. On a holiday weekend maintenance was out within minutes. When it couldn’t be immediately fixed, we were moved to a new unit. We can’t say enough good things about the office and maintenance staff! Perfect long weekend in paradise.
