Pros: My favorite things about the hotel were the flowers everywhere and the great location.
Cons: Honestly, I can't think of a single bad thing to say.
Location: S-bound trolley stop is across the street; N-bound stop is just a few steps north. Beach is across the st; Gulf Drive Cafe is only a few block South.
When my husband and I pulled in to the driveway, the first thing I noticed was this beautiful little yellow cottage with a pergola over the front door that was spilling over with these amazing blue flowers. It was so charming; and, as luck would have it, that ended up being our cottage! I was thrilled. The other cottages are also painted cheerfully and the landscaping is lovely. There are palms and bougainvillia and jasmine. The pool was a decent temperature and was very clean, and the access to the beach is right across the street! There were always plenty of chairs, towels and umbrellas available to use. The south-bound trolley stop is right across the street from the entrance, and the north-bound trolley stop is just a little bit to the north. Our cottage was clean as a whistle, and the daily service was extremely efficient. We loved our stay, and we would recommend this establishment (and Anna Maria Island) highly.

Wonderful would recommend to any family that likes to spend time together with a lot to do and the location is convenient to most everything!! Only thing we missed is there is no donuts nearby for breakfast convenience..

We truly enjoyed our stay at the tradewinds. Everything was in walking distance and there is a free trolley for the entire island. You do not need a car.

Better than I expected

Pros: Big walk-in closet
Cons: No restaurant on-site
Location: Anna Maria Island is beautiful with white sandy beaches. Our favorite restaurant was The Sandbar.
We stayed in a cottage - 1 bedroom plus a pullout sofa. It was clean and comfortable, had everything that we needed. I was concerned about choosing this hotel because it only rated 2.5 stars, but it was great. Baech was easy access across the street.

Pros: Quaint Florida feel.
Cons: Had to cross the road to get to beach.
My only negative comment is that the resort is across the road from the beach. However, everything else was perfect, from the price to the amenities. The cottages are very comfortable, decorated beautifully, and the landscaping is awesome.
