Nice affordable hotel great area
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: More clear about where it is located
Location: Very close to the beach. Try the lobster pot if you want to have a great seafood lunch.
The hotel was well kept and clean, good amount of space even had a small kitchen area. The hotel was a short walk to a very nice beach as well as in close proximity to some great restaurants.

Great Stay!

Pros: Great location on Siesta Key....close to everything. Nice to have gas grills for those that want to cook out. Kitchen was well stocked.
Cons: The bed was a bit soft for our preference.
Location: Local restaurants and shops, close to the beach.
Great family owned resort. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Beach was close by and beautiful. Love the Yoga class.

Family fun at Crescent Beach
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Pros: Location
Nice group of cottage-like resort hotels that are older but very well maintained with an attentive resort staff; great access to the beach, amenities for travelers of all ages. Lots of friendly families using pool and grounds. Convenient to have nice quality beach chairs and beach towels available for daily use at no charge. Enjoyed complimentary Pilates class at the beach as part of the stay. The grounds had beautiful flowering plants.

Nice lil'vacation spot
Posted Jan 10, 2013
I stayed in the tropical sun, hummingbird room. It was just what me and my husband needed. To be honest it was small but plenty of space for two people. Very close to Crescent beach and a short drive to Siesta Key public beach. I will definitely come back!

Nice beach access and facilities
Posted Jan 9, 2013
This hotel is a great option for easy beach access. The room we had was smaller than I thought it would be and the pullout bed was not hugely comfortable, but what the room lacked the hotel made up for with it's beach facilities and outside recreation areas. Beautiful beach with the option of renting things like beach umbrellas, boogie boards, and other beach items. Just outside of your room you have access to beach towels (provided by the hotel), an outdoor pool, and a gas grill. Rooms have an assigned parking spot right in front of the door. This hotel is a great family friendly alternative for small families who are willing to trade a large hotel room for excellent outdoor areas.

Nice place to stay for families
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Good value for the money. They provide beach towels and chairs for the beach as well as pool toys. The only negative during our stay was a loud tv on all night next to our room (I think one of the staff left it on in the laundry room). Siesta Key is a cute village with lots of food options - be sure to try Heavenly Cupcakes and the mini donuts.

Great resort... location can't be beat
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: location and scenery
Cons: the beds were uncomfortable.
Location: amazing!
We had a great vacation here. It was so close to the beach, which was beautiful. The staff was super friendly. Only downside was the bed... it was a little uncomfortable and gave my husband and me backaches.

Great vacation In Siesta Key!
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Beach & staff
Cons: No umbrella's at the pool.
Location: Fabulous location!
Had a wonderful vacation and would go back. Everyone there was so nice, from the girl that checked us in to the guys working around the grounds. Our room was very clean but the bathroom tub could be updated. It was a very short walk to the most beautiful private beach. Blue water, white sand and the most gorgeous sunsets ever! One thing that it lacked was umbrella's around the pool. I cannot do a lot of sun and chair hopped (when I could) to any shade under the palm trees. A few tables and umbrella's would greatly improve the pool area. We will definitely go back and spend another vacation there. I would give the Tropical Beach Resort a 4.5. This page will only let you give whole numbers.

What an extraordinary resort
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: The closeness to the beach
Cons: To far away from the Siesta Key villiage
We enjoyed our experience their. Our flight was delayed, the hotel was very accommodating to us by making sure that we did not loose our room. The staff was great. We saw a pool, however with the weather being so great we spent all of our time at the beach. We did bring all of our own beach supplies. When we booked the flight we did not realize that we could use the hotels beach chairs and umbrellas. We would recommend this resort to anyone.
