Great experiencePosted Nov 15, 2014
The resort is older but very clean and appropriated updated and maintained. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The pools were warm and not overcrowded. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location is central to nice restaurants and shopping. Siesta Key Village is a great place to experience and is only 2 miles away. The beach is gorgeous and private. We will surely return to stay at this resort.

GREAT LOCATIONPosted Nov 11, 2014
Location: Too far to walk into the village for night life, but "free" taxis (tip what you think fair) are readily available
Rooms are well equipped and very clean. If you're travelling with kids the facilities in the rooms are just right. Short walk to a great beach.

Tropical garden feel close to beachPosted Nov 11, 2014
The cozy studio was very clean and the gardens with water feature made you feel like you were in your own private resort. Short walk to beach for gorgeous sunsets and morning shell hunting, great food at Big Water Fish Market and Captain Curts. Evening music at the tiki bar is perfect for after the sun sets. I loved it and am looking forward to staying here again. The beaches are the best!

Pros: The location.
Cons: I cannot think of anything.
Location: Beach and restaurants.
Our room was clean and comfortable. We live staying at Sarasea Circle. It's very convenient to restaurants and the beach.

Great room and just a short walk to the beachPosted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Location, Location, Location
Cons: A changing room on day of departure with a shower. Had to use the outside shower by the pool. Not a problem but would be a nice touch.
Location: The location is very beautiful, small restaurants and bars. Gift shops. Major stores and Mall a 15-min bike ride away with plenty of places renting
The room was perfect and just a few minutes walk to the private beach. A few restaurants and a grocery store plus gift shops also just a short walk away. Loved the Sniki Tiki Bar - food, drinks and live music. Lot's to do in the area if you like to walk, kyak or parasail. WiFi also available free.

Great place near the beachPosted Oct 28, 2014
We really enjoyed our stay at tropical beach resort. The room was very and clean. The beach was just a very short walk away. The resort provided beach towels and beach chairs. The area surrounding the resort had some nice restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay at this resort again.

Hotel is undergoing construction (migraine fest!)Posted Oct 14, 2014
Cons: There should be a mention about construction going on so people know what to expect as far as noise pollution.
On the day we checked in, there was a wedding ceremony happening at the beach. The beachside was jam-packed with people and the wedding party along with chairs set up on the sand, etc. The room we were given was facing the construction site of their front office plus right next to the area which appeared to be a laundry room (judging by loud sounds made by maid service dragging carts on wheels with dirty towels on the paved area every few minutes). No reprieve since the beach was crowded and it was also too noisy to stay in the room. To top it off, construction workers started hammering and cutting wood with electric saws bright and early. What a total waste of money this miserable vacation was! At the check-out I mentioned some of the things that made our stay so unpleasant, but no attempt from them to rectify the situation.
