“Tropical Beach Resorts”

The room smelled really good and was exceptionally clean. The maids did a good job of making up the room everyday and seemed to know exactly when we would be gone so there were no interruptions for us. The staff were all friendly and prompt when we needed something. The heated pool was nice and clean. We were able to use the beach chairs and towels whenever we wanted to. We grilled our freshly caught fish on their gas grill, which was underneath a lit canopy. I liked that we had a kitchenette for the times we wanted to eat in or near our room and several yummy restaurants close by for when we wanted to eat out. Our room was also private and romantic. The beach was the most beautiful I have every seen and is nice a private compared to the public beach. Siesta Key is the Perfect vacation place; we will go there again for sure.

“Nice pleasant accomodations.”

Siesta Key is wonderful with white powder sand. Hotel is not beach front, but a stone throw from the beach. Parking is very tight, but is available and included on the rate. Must display parking permit. WiFi Internet included and it worked fine for us. Would definitely consider returning.

“It was sooooo nice!”

The only bummer about the hotel was that we only got to stay one night. It was very clean and nice. I just wish it wasn't so pricey.

“Pretty much does the trick”

My girlfriend and I went there for the holidays and for some seclusion. We were blown away by how reasonably priced it was and the fact that it had nearly flawless reviews. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Kitchens are well stocked. Every time we needed something--a pan to cook brownies in or directions on how to use the TV--they were prompt and quick about helping me with it. The two-minute walk to the beach was beautiful. People staying there-Canadians, Northeners, and foreigners--were all nice. There were some kids but you don't get the sense that it's overrun with children... They have a free yoga class on the beach for guests Saturday mornings. What can you say bad about it? Nothing really. It's a bit resorty, but not so much. Flocks of green parrots perch in the palm tree in the center courtyard each morning making a lot of chatter. But that's kind of cool.

“Great place to stay - we would go back!”

The maintenance and security men were awesome - so helpful and friendly. Very close to the ocean - a beautiful path to walk! Really enjoyed the nice room - found a dirty sock under one bed, and the bathroom vanity was missing a handle. The front desk people could have been friendlier and more helpful...we didn't find out until the very last day that there were free beach toys we could have borrowed, for example. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to others. We really enjoyed our stay. I would NOT recommend the room we stayed in - which was a 2-bedroom suite (room 127). There is an overhead deck right above this room - and the people were up all hours of the night scooting patio furniture around - it was directly above our heads and pretty loud and annoying. I would think any other room would be fine - next time we will ask to NOT have a room/patio/deck above our heads. Otherwise the rooms were very quiet. One of the pools was heated very warm - we loved that! It also took us awhile to figure out the beach chairs - again, the resort could have given us more "direction" at the front desk, so that we knew what to do, where to get/rent chairs, etc. I would highly recommend this resort, despite the "picky little" things I think they could do to make guests more comfortable/welcome. We would definitely go back!

“Great resort”

We upgraded to a suite when we got there and got a great deal. The beds were comfortable, everything clean and well taken care of. The resort is a three minute walk from the beach and several good restaurants. We'll probably go back there next year with family. Loved it.

“Beach has issues”

The beach did not live up to all the hype. The entire beach was nothing but hard, crushed up seashells. I saw a very small glimpse of the white powdery sand but that was it. Asking the locals, they told me that a recent tropical storm had ruined it. My suggestion is to do your homework before booking travel to Siesta Key. You need to find out whether or not they fixed the beach.

tropical shores was an awesome experience,very clean,friendly and helpful polite staff.Short walk to the beach.Rental of YoLo boards,and kayaks available along with chairs and umbrellas. Highly recommend and I will come back!

“A Pleasant Surprise”

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Tropical Beach Resort. The location was wonderful, close to the beach, restaurants and amenities. I highly recommend visiting the friendly staff at The Tropical Beach Resort.

“Peaceful and Home-like”

Very quaint and spacious. Lovely little get away place. Felt like a little cottage/home. Up to date and very well kept. The beach was amazing. :)
