Good hotel,Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: - Very comfortable bed. - Air conditioning responsive & efficient during some very hot & humid weather. - Better than average breakfast buffet.
Location: All close by & easy to access: - Waterfront - Downtown area - Golf course - Highway 402 entry & exit - Bridge to Canada/US border
A two day stay, with the following points: - Although I'm not a golfer, the hotel bordered on a course, which is handy for lots of people. - Very nice outdoor pool/patio area.

Ok hotel, would suggest looking elsewhere.Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Quiet, clean.
Cons: Customer experience. Check in experience. Dining options. A simple coffee machine in the lobby perhaps or replacing the in room coffee.
Location: It is 15 min walk to casino. Nothing else near by. Cabs take 20-40 mins to arrive.
When I checked in I didn't have my CC. Room was prepaid- I offered to put up a cash deposit but was told that wasn't an option. When I recounted my bad day, clerk was disinterested. When I asked what options I had, she shrugged. When I said I lived 4 hours away and traveled by train , she remained disinterested. I eventually thought to offer visa debit and she said she would try it- that worked. Authorized only $25 so that's far less than the $300 cash I offered up. Pool closed early both nights because of "excessive use" said the sign. Although the hotel was not full nor was the pool area even busy. The in room coffee is awful. Not just not good, awful. They offer no lobby coffee. No free breakfast. Restaurant only open 6:30am-10pm ( I needed food/drink after 10pm and before 5am) there is no were to get food/drink within walking distance, we decided to go to the casino (15 min walk) but that restaurant also was closed. Cabs in Sarnia take 30 minutes ( I used cabs 5x so this is common) The first floor has snack vending machine (which gave me one of the 2 bars I purchased) If you wander upstairs you will find a drink vending machine. I requested a king bed and a couch pullout- I got a king bed and chair. Room was fine. AC worked great, bedding was nice, television was fine. Everything was clean. It was mostly a disappointment especially for a holiday inn but was tolerable. Since I am looking for a hotel in September for a large group of us I tried this, but will look elsewhere

Cons: There ought to be supervision in the hallway as I found there were many younger people congregating Angela celebrating in the hallway.
Location: My stay there is not a long one and therefore I can't give a fair comment.
I had a room on the main floor and was facing the road. I found the other occupants above me were very loud , too noisy I would say until 11:00 pm. I had the same experience last year and I am giving more serious consideration next year if I visit the city. In fact last year, an employee had to ask the then occupants to be calm and keep the congregation indoors and not in the hallway. They were in front of my doorway.

Just okPosted Jun 3, 2015
Hotel room is nice but bathrooms are terrible. Old, tiny, dingy. Only one towel was provided for two people. TV was not working. Room itself was clean, and staff was excellent.

Easy, convenient, comfortablePosted Mar 10, 2015
Just a brief overnight stay enroute to Toronto. Arrived late evening, left before the restaurant opened the following morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Easy access just inside Canadian customs/immigration. Would stay there again.
