Once we found our hotel via taxi from the airport (€30 approx.) we located the nearest metro/train station (El Putext) which was only a short 2 minute walk from the hotel which took us into the city centre in approx 8 mins. The staff were very welcoming and all spoke good English and were able to answer our queries easily. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel but decided to visit a local patisserie which was just round the corner and sold amazing croissants with chocolate running through the middle! The room was a reasonable size, clean and had all your basic facilities - as we didn't spend much time there it was ideal for our stay. My husbands only complaint was that the mini bar was restocked!!! Only one pillow is supplied per person - I could have done with an extra one but didn't ask so don't know if they are available free of charge or for extra (normally you tend to find one in the wardrobe but there wasn't a spare).

Very noisy street... cars & buses & horns from street traffic, people partying talking & laughing out front -- all well into the night, finally quieted-down about 2 am but not completely. But the facility was clean, and the security good.

Very nice hotel if you don't want to be in the busy city. Great hotel to unwind. Sea view room had exceptional views of Barcelona. Shuttle bus three times a day but last one back to hotel 16.30,so taxi is the only way home in the evening, varying in cost from 16 - 26 euros!! Staff very friendly & helpful, especially Patricia on front desk & Abel the concierge. Hotel expensive for drinks & food, I expect to pay more at 5*, however 19euros for a pizza & 5 euros for tea is rather steep, especially when we were there for a week. Had a very nice meal in the orangerie restaurant, again rather pricey but good quality. Lovely spa, enjoyed massage. All in all we had a great time there and would definitely go back.

This was a nice hotel suited our needs well enough. Rooms are fine. Was not aware that they offered breakfast till the last day. Also, have little fridges in the hallway with cold water--discovered that because we used the stairs.
Those items should have been told to us on arrival. But overall, it was fine.

Have stayed at this hotel various times. Like the look of it, and appreciate that it is in a great neighborhood, far from the crowds. CHeck in was very late, and the room we were given wasn't ready. We went to another room, and there were various flaws (curtains, shower, mirrors, reading light). Changed room the next night, and the staff offered a box of chocolates for our trouble. Not sure I'll stay there again. Too many low priced quality options now in Barna.

"Good location close to metro and easy walk to city"
We had a great welcome from lovely desk staff who were very helpful. Out room wason the small side with old bathrooms and no view, but everything was clean and worked fine which made it a great base. The hotel is close to a metro station and is a decent walk into the old part if the city.

A predominantly upmarket residential neighbourhood, Sarria-Sant Gervasi’s principal thoroughfare is the Diagonal, the city’s primary business and commercial district. The area is good for shopping with two branches of El Corte Inglés department store and L’Illa Diagonal mall. Neighbouring Gràcia (east) is best for a more local eating, drinking and shopping experience while and Pedralbes (north) is also well worth a visit.
