Simple stay.

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Like the fact that hotel parking had plug-ins for car block heaters. Was below -20 c and fell reassured that I could still start car in morning.
Quiet and comfortable. Plenty of pillows on bed. Shower was good for hot water. Parking was reasonable. Great to have plug-ins for car block heaters on cold winter night, takes worry out of being able to start car in morning.

Service

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: It was quiet even for a conference stay
Cons: I guess they would be in the process of improving as they are renovating...this was somewhat inconvenient because there were parking issues.
Location: Not a whole lot to do near by other than convenience for in and outgoing flights. Close to airport.
I didn't like that I still had to pay another $250 for a preoth. even though I paid for the room through expedia....bummer. There was no place to plug in the vehicle for the kind of temperature we had. Rooms were a bit too small for bug people like us.

So So

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean
Cons: Finish the construction!
Location: Reasonably easy to get to Sask Tel Place
Hotel was under construction and somewhat inconvenient. Rooms were neat and clean but very small. Didn't feel that this hotel was worth the money.

not happy with stay

The damage deposit of $250.00 bothers me. Have no proof that they credited my visa card.

Not great

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Underconstruction, Confusing maze to get to elevator, my room was not one of the upgraded ones. Could hear everything from surrounding rooms and in hallway, taps dripped all night. No iron or blow dryer. Upon arrival I was essentially ignored by front desk while they kept taking phone calls. Renos started in April - I was there end of Oct. Didn't look like much progress.

vacation

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Location Right off the highway
Cons: Its been renovated. Time will tell.
Location: Didn't check this out
This was one stop of many while driving to B.C. from N.L. The hotel was under a very major renovation that included every area the guest would use. Therefore, certain things were expected. In the room I had stayed in the bathroom had been completely redone. Everything new, great. The room was not touched. Its a work in progress so its hard to give a true assessment. However some things really stood out. The room is small for 2 double beds. It has been at least 20 years that I stayed in a room with no iron or ironing board. The room had a small wardrobe and not a closet. I saw that about 30 years ago in seasonal cabins rented by a lake during the summer. During the renovations these things must be addressed. All the carpets throughout the hotel were very worn. And I feel certain they will soon all go. The reasons listed above is why I was surprised at the hotel. I expected a better quality hotel. Of course it is a work in progress and in the future it may very well have the quality of at least a Comfort Inn, etc. The price was the big drawing card here. Future travelers if you have a choice choose another hotel until all renovations are complete. Then check what others then say. It may turn out to be a great hotel. I really hope so.

Not a very nice hotel at all,

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Check Out Time. Couldn't wait to leave.
Cons: Not sure.
Hotel is under renovations since April of 2014. I was there in October 2014 and I'm not sure what is being done. A very poor managed project. The rooms are barely adequate. Found a bug in my room. But that wasn't the worst. Just not a very nice hotel. You can see the cutbacks everywhere.
