Very nice

We arrived on a Friday and were greated with a friendly helpful front desk staff. The lobby was decorated for Halloween which was great because my mom and I were going to see Salem so it kept us in the spirit of the holiday. Our room was very nice with updated furniture and comfortable clean beds. The bathroom was a bit small but clean. They had a hot free breakfast which is one of the reasons for picking the hotel. We were not disappointed ... Eggs, sausags , Bacon, pancakes, biscuits ect. It got a little crowded but we always found a table. The only negative comment would be the parking. We had to park in the far back of the hotel because all of the upfront parking was for gold members only. My mom has bad knees alsoit would have made us feel better to be closer to the hotel when walking from our car at night.

Pros: It was very clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: Do away with the cost of leaving a car would make it more the price of the hotel a little more attractive.
Location: I got there late and left early, though I did see stores near by.
When I'm flying in the early morning, I always find a hotel that let's me leave my car while I'm away. The hotels that I usually stay at don't cost anything to leave my car though this one did. I was disappointed; the hotel was very expensive, 15 minutes to Logan and it costs $10.00 per day to leave your car. I did not schedule this stay; my new assistant did.

Nice hotel, location ugly.

Pros: Not nice location, 8 miles from airport, but excellent shuttle service.
Cons: An area to eat where you DON'T have to see the TV.
Location: not a nice location but can get a train to the centre of Boston
Very nice room EVERYTHING worked, TV, Air Water etc. my bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Late check in chap Oct. 14th. was grumpy (remember late arrivers tired too), daytime staff Oct.15th. wonderful!

Cons: Staff that is willing to work with the customer, not against.
We chose this hotel because we were told that a free shuttle to the airport as well as free parking for our car was available. Upon our arrival we were greeted by two staff members that were less than professional. When I inquired about the shuttle we were told it did not begin running until 4:00 am. I explained to them we were told it runs at all times they stated that we were misinformed and we would need to take a taxi at our cost, which was forty dollars. We were then told that we needed to pay ten dollars a day to park our car, when we were told at the time of booking was free. After a lengthy discussion with the staff our parking was free. I was extremely dissatisfied with the nonprofessional attitude of the individuals. It was disappointing to begin our vacation this way, and even more disappointing that the staff appeared to enjoy our dissatisfaction.

Pros: Comfy beds, clean bathroom
Cons: Employ night crew that appreciates having a job and welcomes its guests.
Late night clerk rude . He said he'd rather be sleeping than working. He was sloppily dressed.He didn't show any interest in welcoming me. He watched me lug my suitcase up the three steps and never told me there was a way to use the ramp that I found in the daylight. I would never employ this young man. He doesn't represent the goals of the Holiday inn express. Morning crew throughout the inn very pleasant .

Good hotel reasonably close to downtown Boston.

We have a good experience even through restaurant choices nearby are limited. We were looking for a good hotel near Boston that would not cost us $350+ per night. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Recommend.

Good hotel near Logan Airport

Location: It's about ten minutes or so from Logan; they provide transportation if needed.
I have stayed at this hotel before mainly for convenience to Logan airport, and I was pleased to see that it has been refurbished; it's much nicer than before. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and quiet, and there was a decent continental breakfast available. In all I found my stay very satisfactory and would stay at this hotel again. There is a variety of restaurants nearby as well.
