The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there were a good number of great eateries withing walking distance of the hotel. I enjoyed the time I spent here!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was immaculate and the bed the most comfortable I have slept in for some time.

“Good place on rte1 SAUGUS/REVERE”

Great place for the single traveler - very clean (all hardwood floors so no carpets with odd stains on them or odors) - smaller-sized rooms but who cares if you are not staying in them all day. Mix and match of rooms that have LCD or CRT TVs so be sure to ask for one. Needs thicker blankets in rooms for wintertime, consider installing adjustable shower heads as well, but otherwise all is well for for the economy-priced room. GREAT location on rte 1. One other thing - You gotta have a rental car to get here though - don't let the "Logan" related name fool you - its NOWHERE NEAR Logan. Speaking of - management - you cant let 2-3 huge tour buses park across all your spaces! Where is everyone else supposed to park?!

“Good quality Red Roof”

This was my second stay at the Red Roof Saugus for a brief overnight stay. This is a typical Red Roof Inn, however it is all enclosed, making it more desirable than the typical outside access Red Roof. The staff on arrival was very nice and even offered to book my taxi in advance for my departure the following day. The rooms are basic Red Roof rooms which have been updated. The only complaint I have about Red Roof in general is the uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, but you do get what you pay for and it is a good value. There is limited food within walking distance as there is a 4-lane highway out front with a dividing wall that prohibits crossing on foot. There is a Fudruckers, a Brazilian steak house and a family owned pizza place next door.

“Great Hotel”

Red Roof Inn was wonderful to my mother and I - they would look up directions for us for the next day or last minute if we needed them. The roof was always very clean as were the hallways and the lobby. They had yummy vending machines located in convenient places. There was also a complimentary drink machine in the lobby with a variety of flavors. I wish the bathroom wasn't awkwardly small - but great hotel! (Easy access to highway)
