“Thanks for the extras!”

The hotel was clean no matter where I looked. The staff did a great job throughout our stay keeping the lobby and coffee/breakfast area clean and stocked. The counter associates all had smiles and welcomed us when we came in. The request of extra pillows and a blanket was easily filled and they were not taken away by housekeeping when they made the room up the followingday, as has been the case in other hotels. Thanks so much for a great stay! Will be back soon!

“Good overnighter”

We had a wedding at 3pm so they got us in as early as possible.Good little breakfast in the morning.Just what we needed. Outside appearanse is dull but inside is nice.

Clean small hotel convenient to the expressway and close to Canada. Food places all around it - would stay there again.

Our family decided to do a "Great Lakes" vacation this year. Staying primarily in Port Hope and then venturing mid-wk. to the upper peninsula where we stayed at the Super 8. Location and price could not be beat and the fact that I was able to do laundry and a free continental breakfast was a big plus for our family of 5. The bathroom was small but adequate. Surroundings were quiet thus we all got a good nights sleep.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, decent selection for the continental breakfast Cons: bed was too firm for my liking, no elevator Overall this is a decent hotel for a one night stay.

“A minor concern”

I ordered 2 rooms which I assumed would be next to each other...they were not. I would specify next time that they be together. A nice motel and a good value for the money.

“Labor Day at the Soo”

We found the motel to be clean, cared for, well equipped and modestly priced. Lack of interest or atmosphere in the area was disappointing but was also offset by the reasonable price. The bathroom was VERY small and somewhat frustrating. The small sink/counter was beside the door with no visual barrier so privacy at sink/mirror was non-existant when the door was opened (shower and stool were private). Don't know how the maximum of 4 would make it work if they were dealing with scheduled meeting times.
