Upscale, Modern Hotel

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Wondeful stay at the Andaz week after Labor Day . Great location-near everything, easy walking to shops and restaurants but not right on River. Staff are extrememly friendly and helpful. Very attractive, modern look and vibe. Great hotel bar with some fun signature cocktails, and candied bacon is a must try. Didnot eat at the restaurant, but our travelling companions said breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect location, hotel and staff!!!

Exceptional hotel and the staff was consistently friendly, helpful and polite, especially Clinton! The hotel was close enough to everything so if you needed to take a break or drop of some shopping bags you could. Could not imagine staying anywhere else!!!

Nice hotel in the historic area.

Pros: When you walked out the front door, thetrolley for sight seeing stopped across the street. Very convenient.
We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed it, and the bed was very comfortable.

Pros: Urban design, yet comfortable and great location
Location: This hotel is centrally located to everything that we wanted to do in Savannah. Great dining, night life, and tourist attractions were steps away.
My stay was good overall. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well maintained and had a great urban design yet felt very comfortable.

Hotel was wonderful and a great location.

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Great location and complimentary coffee, juice, water for all guests.
Cons: Mention on your breakfast menu...you can order eggs, bacon and toast. Not just what is on the menu.
Location: Enjoyed the Historic Tour trolleys. All day for one rate. Great way to see a city.
Everyone was very helpful, smiled and offered information. Truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend Andaz to my family and friends.

Perfect Weekend!

Posted Aug 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Staff at the Andaz were friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked through the door. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the mini fridge non-alcoholic drinks and snacks that were available at no charge. The fitness center had cold water bottles in a mini fridge there as well as waiting on every machine along with a workout towel. There were even fresh peaches. Don't pay attention to the mirrors at the ends of the hallways or the scale in the fitness room because they both indicate you are thinner than you actually are. :-) The only negative was that the TV reception/picture quality was poor at times. We were uncertain if this was the TV or perhaps the hotel uses satellite that was having difficulties due to the afternoon rain storms. It did rain late afternoon all three days we were there, but that did not slow down our trip at all. We took advantage of that time for an afternoon nap to prep for the evening. Tons of night spots surround the hotel, everything is easily within walking distance. We would love to go back again with a groups of friends!

Lively Atmosphere

Posted Aug 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Expect a fun but lively stay. The hotel is in the heart of a very busy district - roads are packed with cars and even more people. You'll need to valet for $23 per day, but it's nice being able to drop off your car conveniently at the front door. Outside the hotel, you've got a massive selection of bars, restaurants and little shops. Count on seeing your share of people drunk on live and booze - but it's all a tad moderated - not quite Cancun or New Orleans. At the hotel, the staff is very friendly - we were impressed with the Valet Attendant (Ashley) and the woman who checked us in at the front desk. The rooms are clean, the complementary beverages (non-alcoholic) and snacks in the room are a nice tough and the decor of this modern hotel is calming and chic. In general, it was a very comforting stay.
