Debuting at the end of January 2009, this boutique hotel combines modern luxuries with a uniquely Savannah graciousness and sense of place.
Andaz Savannah's Terrace, an inviting outdoor living space, includes a pool, seating nooks, complimentary private cabanas, sun umbrellas and sun loungers as well as a fire pit. There are also 24-hour fitness facilities and there is horseback riding nearby as well as bird watching.
Good food abounds. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinners, happy hour and Sunday brunch and draws on local flavors and fresh market ingredients. Buffet breakfasts (surcharge) are available daily. Evening menus feature small plates and tastings, with signature desserts. The Barista Bar offers espresso-based drinks, signature-blend organic coffees, and fresh seasonal juices.
Other amenities include a 24-hour business center with 5,600 square feet of meeting facilities including 4 meeting/conference rooms, audio-visual equipment, secretarial services and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access and Internet stations with printing. The hotel accommodates banquet facilities, event catering and wedding services. An additional highlight is the concierge service presenting local “tastemaker” tips. The multi-lingual front desk offers help with tours/ticket information, luggage storage and umbrellas for that rainy day. Guests enjoy relaxing in the garden there is roundtrip airport shuttle (surcharge) at scheduled times.
