This hotel was beautiful and very stylish. Lots of little seatting areas to sit and enjoy, including a patio fire pit. Great bar, food, and atmosphere. The front desk was very helpful with maps and directions for the area.

Hotel is in the perfect location so you can sight see and not have to get in your car and drive everywhere. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and very pleasing. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

great location: within walking distance to river and to historic district. excellent staff: they volunteered lots of useful information, and really knew their way around town. Good bed (important to us) excellent breakfast bar with lots of fresh fruit.

Great hotel- beautiful room- extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was spectacular! Clinton and wait staff were superb! My wife and I had a wonderful experience and will return for another visit at the Avia.

Super hotel and staff. Great location. A must stay. Get a suite if you can, they are fantastic. Easy walking distance to all the great shopping and restaraunts. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and safe area. Will stay there again.

“Happy find in downtown Savannah”

This is a quite new hotel, well-located for restaurants and seeing historic Savannah. Do plan on using the valet parking, which was priced reasonably, since there was nary a bit of overnight public parking to be seen. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Two small oddities: There was not a hook to be found in the otherwise very nicely appointed bathroom and the in-room safe took up a very large part of the closet, making hanging two garment bags impossible. (One bag was doable; the other had to make do with the portable luggage rack.)

“Great Hotel”

Excellant location. Within walking distance of many attractions. One block off of river. Easy check in. Be aware there is a $23.00 a day valet charge. Only complaint was several people were smoking cigars at the firepit-pool area and this is suppose to be a non-smoking facility. Staff in the area did not challenge. Maybe a no smoking sign would be more effective. Would stay here again.

Beautiful modern room with a tall ceiling. Very comfortable bedding. Overall - new and clean. Concierge friendly and helpful. Great location for walking around historical Savannah.
